pk sounds so awesome. You basically are called out to a field where EVERYONE just beats the shit out of each other. SRK should just get a mob just to beat the shit out of people. Downside is that you lose money when you lose and when shit goes down like that expect everyone to lose (though you can run away for 5 minutes).

You have successfully registered an Early Access Beta Key.

  • On September 14th, you will be able to download the Dungeon Fighter Online client.
  • On September 15th, you will be able to play Dungeon Fighter Online.
  • Open Beta launches this Fall.

Thank you for your continued enthusiasm for Dungeon Fighter Online.

Fight hard, brave warriors!

elementalist or witch, which do i choose?

do i throw giant jack o lanterns at people, or do i pick a class that can do marvel-like shit?

the tier list i posted, I believe, is just over all usefullness.

mechanics are phenomenal at everything, so is spitfire.

like fighter class’s are typicaly stronger in pvp situations than dungeons, but they still can be effective anywhere.

honestly, every single class is a blast to play. they all come in different flavors of beat em up goodness.

the reason for male and female versions being different, is because the skill animations / and dmg / all the possible modifiers are different.

the “best attack skill” for male , may only be the 5th best for female and the other way around.

Is the US version even getting like male fighter and female slayer for the beta?

I’m in as one of the caster classes most likely, although the prospect of being Ragna with a gun intrigues me.

Let’s go with marvel like shit for 600, alex.

What is ROM, Alex?

now tossing up between Asura, Elementalist, and Crusader.

this fucker over here got that elementalist

Out of those 3, I would say… Crusader. Asura is the lower class of the 3. Speaking of claiming classes. How should we go about for the guild? First come, first serve?

it would help to know 2 things: whose the leader, and how many people we have. The key point is to have the main sets represented. After that, whatever.

EDIT: the tier list is nice, but it doesnt have any basis for its reasoning. No match-ups, no advantages/disadvantages, nothing. Maybe its just me, but I’d like to know why ____ is what tier it is.

Hmmm. As far as how many ppl we have, I would assume that everyone that posted here would be a part of the guild. As to who should be the leader, that depends. Should we nominate the leader or should we give it to the person who sets it up.

I suppose you have a point about the tier list. However some of them do state their pros/cons and move list. Then again, the decision is up to you.

I guess everyone posting here would be apart. Someone with a lot of knowledge about the game should be the leader of the guild.

damn this game looks fun ill be looking into this!

Nope, those arent even out for the korean servers yet, it will be a long time before we see them. It will probably be a long while before we even see female gunners.

Just so you know, that tier list is put together by some english speaking people that have been playing the game since its very very early stages, who also happen to speak korean, and know the game inside and out.

Your looking at it like its supposed to be a tier list for a fighting game. The fact that there is a X / Y axis, and no universal block, non player vs player game types, etc, means that you cant tier the characters like that.

The top class’s are simply good at everything (dungeons / war / pvp / challenge towers / etc ), while the lower ones are more specialized / or just nerfed (scholar).

examples: summoner is a great dungeon character, but up against some of the better pvp types, summoner is going to be at a disadvantage.

(it takes time to summon pets is main reason there, other characters can start attacking immediately, while the summoner has to summon pets before he can get offensive)

fighter types, usually are better in pvp than in dungeons, but they can still be useful and effective anywhere, just not as easy mode as being a gunner.

(close range characters on the KINGS difficulty, will have alot of attacks “blocked” by the natural defense of the mobs. this can be super tricky, especially when your wearing light armor and taking one hit means 1/8th of your life is gone. the enemy can “combo” you as well, meaning maybe half your life is gone in one situation)

All that being sed, every character can be effective in any situation, some just more easily than others. Please, play what you think sounds cool, when your lvl 35, and closing in on 40, you will know by then a great deal about your characters strengths / weaknesses.

Thanks for the perspective aqualung. I was wondering, are the costumes for the characters cash shop items, or is there a way to unlock them in game?

Looks pretty neat, might play it casually.

yeah, i didnt mean to type so much ; ; forgive me.

the costumes are called avatar gear, and they are pay money for items…

HOWEVER!

they are often sold by other players in personal shops for in game currency, so even if you dont want to pay for these items, with enough work and cash making, you can still obtain them!

What I’m wondering is if this game is going to fall into the trap that a lot of free MMOs fall into where the players who are buying cash items have a distinct advantage over those who don’t. Of course not all games are like this, but I can think of a couple of pretty bad examples.

…I’ll probably be buying cash items anyway though, lol.
