Hit level 20 today too. Exorcist seems kind of underwhelming.
Are there other class trainers in the game or do all of the abilities stop at level 35?
Exorcists lack y-axis coverage before the priest patch. Monks are easier to build up due to their lack of skills to waste SP on, but they’re much stronger in general after the patch. The downside to their revamp is that SP becomes extremely tight later on.
In terms of the abilities, they’re just like that because the game doesn’t have any content past level 40. There is one more skill at level 45 for each class later on, with an awakening (passive and active skills which acts like a super move).This is why GSD and several of the PVP training dummies don’t have weapons, as well. I suspect this is also why the experience requirements have been raised, since they haven’t translated the 40+ content yet.

As you can see, the Exorcist gets a ridiculous buff to just about everything they have in DFO currently.
Anything avatar related is going to be a cash shop item. However, any avatars that have unlimited duration can be sold or traded in the auction house, so it’s possible to get what you want with in-game money. If you’re strapped for cash (be it in real life, or the game), I suggest getting the upper body and face avatars, since they increase attack speed by 5%.
This is all based on the Korean and Japanese versions of the game, but unless Nexon USA gets stingy, it will apply in DFO as well.

gear actually isn’t that big a deal in pvp. you can own in all whites if you’re skilled.
you get several new skills when you make your second job advancement at 48.
it actually takes quite a bit for equips to break. i personally repair with that bitch at the end of most runs though so i don’t forget.
I’d take that. I have the belt for it. If I can get the set, I’d be happy. I’m Conjure in game. (Hopefully no one took it already.)
