though, if you plan on PvPing, either class is good but I believe Brawler would do better than Grappler there. If you’re strictly PvE, Grappler. Though in the end, play what you want. It’s not like either class will suffer THAT much in the long run, just brawlers from what I know do better in PvP. In PvE, they can’t solo dungeons nowhere near as quick/easy as a grappler.
In pvp grapplers have it easier than brawlers on the approaches. Stuff like a sliding spiral with unstoppable grab buff can cover a lot of the tavern arena. Plus currently only grapplers can max seismic punch which is great for starting a combo and can be aimed on the y-axis (though if a person baits the seismic, they can super armor through it and put the grappler in a lot of hurt ie. rangers and their wildshot).
Brawlers have to work to get in but their combos are one of the most damaging in the game. But you can go on #srkdfo to ask more about classes, since most people go there.

I just started yesterday as a priest and i was wondering of the game gives any avatar items from quests or something.
If not, then the only way to get these avatar items is through spending real cash, right? I’m already getting tired of my priest’s outfit.
People sell avatar items all the time in their shops, just keep an eye out. Unfortunately they’re expensive.
So i’ll take that as a no. This is how they get you with free to play games.
the only events in the past that gave free avatar items were the christmas and halloween ones. Halloween avatar item is the only one that did anything and that wasn’t permanent (sadly.) Christmas event items are permanent but don’t give any stat boost.

Also I think the FP system and the grindfest deters alot of new players to continue playing this game.

I’m kinda waiting for guilds to drop now. My grappler’s still 40 and I was gonna go work on my soul bender now that awakenings are half out. But since no one’s really on that much anymore (or it seems. haven’t dropped by the IRC in awhile.) I see no constant drive at the time. Plus most on here were more geared towards PvP. I’m more PvE if anything.
He didn’t do anything wrong. I assume that the Nexon “hacking detection system” got him banned even tho he was playing legit.
Guilds ought to spice things up a bit.
I just wish the game was less grindy and user friendly so more ppl can play this game so it can be more supported.
yea i really wish Nexon of all people didn’t pick this thing up. Because of stupid shit like Syxx, wouldn’t happen. shitty hacking detection, they never pay attention to their servers as bots always arise, and are too busy receiving than giving back. I don’t know how the grind is now with the 50 cap but I got tired of doing quests that I can’t really solo atm.
I’m also not happy at how some cancels cost SP when they’re not supposed to cost a thing.
Some cancels cost SP because this version isn’t updated like kDnF. They’re updating it slowly like how kDnF updated.
It’s true that lots of people have been banned wrongfully but a lot more goldspammer/farmers/sellers have been banned too. The price in gold has DOUBLED since then. Gold farmers having a way harder time meeting the demand. Nexon’s putting their foot down on things now.

as far as game content goes, i dont think its that grindy. i mean most of us know it used to be much, MUCH worse. besides how much fun leveling up you have is a function of the class you play and the people you play with anyways.
i have 49, a 47, and some others around 40. all i do nowadays is screw around in pvp with people from irc and decorate the trade channel. sometimes i dungeon to get SP to make said screwing around in pvp better for me. between those activities the game is fun enough for me.
New hack detection is bullshit. I’ve been following people’s problems on other sites and I’m now seriously concerned about merchanting and farming because it’s really hard to say what happened that’s been getting everyone banned. I’m still playing and enjoying the game but there’s no fucking way I’m buying NX or any of that shit until they can guarantee I won’t get randomly banned…
Getting from Level 1-40 takes about 8 days last time I tested. 40-50 is a different story. I have 1 Lv50, and 2 Lv41s. So anyway, whoever wants to PVP, PM me on Bananaya!
