I don’t understand this business model, most people who haven’t bought avatar items is because they are worthless with the current ones they have. That is the main reason stopping many people from paying actual money for this game. Trying to milk out the population just gives the other 90% of people a chance to quit the game while they slowly release stuff. I don’t get it.
I know that. But if there isn’t much of a distinct exp gain, then will it really matter? That’s what I’m getting at. If they make it distiginuishable, then, it’ll benefit everyone. But if it goes like Maple did, the lower lever benefited from it more than the higher levels. The only reason why most people can breeze through levels is the constant x2 cards and the extra maps they added to stop KSing. Luckily, KSing won’t be a case in DFO, thank God. But for a normal player with the level cap raise and no x2, it’ll still be a level grind.
Maybe not so much of one, but it’ll still be one. But, thus the curse of MMOs.
Is it just me or does the priest avatar Christmas outfit look like a mix between Robin Hood and a busted pimp? Maybe a cowboy? I dunno what’s up with that hat. Haha. The gunner’s Holiday NX looks terrible. They couldn’t think of anything better? Honestly. What’s up with their creative team? It probably would look awesome if it were draw, but in sprite form… Not so much.
Ehh, not such a good compensation since I’d still hafta kick out money for something. Those titles seem tempting, but I can’t even trade it amongst my characters. That kinda sucks.
It’s all crap. The only good thing is the double experience, which SHOULD have just been an event like they did before spanning a couple days. Instead, now it’s a potion you have you buy.
Time to put on my prediction hat: hours after the double experience potion is released servers go down again and everyone’s potions are wasted causing everyone to bitch on the forums.
What are the odds on that happening? 1:1? Maybe 3:2.
Nexon just didn’t want to give away a free 2xp event so soon after doing one. But that’s also cause they don’t want half the people playing to be at the level cap already. Which then leads to the question:
