Either Group up with others (probably the best), or get Muse Uppercut Cancel. Granted…you should get Muse Uppercut cancel anyway as it lets to more combos…but since you’re 18, you’ll struggle a bit when you first become a grappler in the skill department.
EDIT: On that note, anyone around lvl 32 and up for a First spine run? My grappler keeps getting raped by those damn black octopus.

for fighter subclasses i get style points by doing muse > dash attack > dash attack xx muse over and over again since its an infinite. or if youre lucky some mobs you can do dash attack xN in the corner for another easy infinite. tiger chain strike level 1 required to cancel out of dash attack btw.
id do that on my striker but its probably even worse at dealing with those lolnohitstun octopi :sad: i hate the spines, random flying tentacles of doom and a mob that basically says LOL fuck you melee.

Took me about 4-5 minutes to enter a channel today, I think it’s just slow.

fighter class still rapes. But there are some monsters that come to mind who have rather godly x/y axis attacks that really shouldn’t be as good…still love my grappler though.
Yeah I set mine up last night and all my stuff sold in literally 10 minutes. I was 300 grand richer. Also level 28 feels good, man.

I upgraded some of my purple jewelry and was amazed at how much my magic defense went up. I start out at like 3000 or so. I upgraded both my purple ring and purple band to +7. I’m at almost 5000 Magic defense now. Not bad for a level 25. I really need to get to 30 though, so I can start buying some good leather armor.
I played a little and got 10 levels. I still don’t know anything about this game, just playing solo. I haven’t used anything yet, no skill points books mana perm increases etc. So far I’m killing stuff with the z x x z infinite. Just like CvS2, z is like roll then roll cancel into custom combo. Also, can these books be traded to other characters? That way farm books then have infinite skill points.
I just started today to distract myself from doing important school work. Not sure if I will play very long anyways, depending on if anyone else is playing too.
EDIT: Especially since the game keeps freezing my laptop.

Nope… the books say “Cannot be Traded”. The game gets much deeper when you advance to subclass though.
