I lost to a sakura player at a va tourney. He ended up winning the tourney. She’s got pretty good normals, and she doesn’t scared of SSB.
SSB is mostly useless vs Sakura outside of empty jump mix up or meterless backdash reading.
I dont know any Sakuras from VA but I know some of da best sakuras (online lol) so send a PM if you’s need help for next time.

You can’t focus against her or rely too much on catching limbs with st. Rh since she can whiff punish it hard with sweep or low forward xx DP. Her footsies are much better, so you have to play pretty patient and wait for her to jump or mess up. She’s free on wakeup though and can’t throw fireballs, which is why I’d say it’s maybe even at best.
DBJoseph probably has the best Sakura in the US and I do pretty well against him. He thinks she beats Dudley and I could see why.
All of her pokes can be counter poked by s.HK on reaction even.
you can focus her but only if you get a pattern of far s.MK and c.MK going. done at the very tip of her far s.HK c.MK wont connect even if she walks forward a bit because of dudley’s hitbox when he’s focusing.

i think dudley has better ways to open sakura up thn sakura has dudley (not counting Resets since you need to land a hit first talking about blockstrings ect ect )
