What moves do you guys use for tick throws? I’m trying to incorporate more of them in my game but a lot of the time I end up whiffing the throw.

Are you holding back as you are attempting to tick throw?
f.mk (to get in / positioning) to c.lp or c.lk >>> throw
Just an example.
If you’re whiffing them, then you’re doing the right stuff but need to delay the throw more. Also, Dudley’s throw range is pretty ass, so that might be it too.
In SF4 there are 6 buttons
LP MP HP
LK MK HK
Dudley also can use these 6 buttons
c.LP s.LP f.LP
s.LK c.LK
s.MK
s.MP c.MP
-there’s also partial target combos that leave dudley -1 -2 0 +1 i wont get into that since you gotta be good at hit confirming first to use dudley’s blockstrings to their full potential.-

a tick throw set up I like to do is
cr.lp, st.lk target combo, st.lk-st.mk-st.mp then from there go for a grab.
Tears charge characters timing a reversal to shreads especially bisons punk ass
or if I land a f.mk I go for st.lk target combo. Been working for me, correct me please thirtyfour correct me CORRECT ME
Do you mean on hit or on block? I’m assuming block but i would interested to see why you would do that on hit
how do u deal with scrub balrogs that just turtle and rush punch all day. and juris that do pin wheel ex on wake up every time and random air kicks. Thank you.
not including jump attacks your punish combos need to do at least 300 damage meterless and 360 damage with meter AT LEAST
What’s the point in playing Dudley if you have no Oki or punish combos?

(THANKS) besides 1 frame link punishes like f.mk st.mp cr.mp st.hk xx rapemode what else is good to do besides the most basic f.mk st.hk rapemode? actually don’t reply to that since you are going to answer with look at tut since it’s already in there but yea. after blocked rush punches i do st.lp st.hp. and when i do oki ex rush punch all day so i try to be careful.

you can grab anyone out of armored anything i think
