From my experience, Dudley has the advantage on Akuma with his normal poking game when he gets in close. Even if I decide to throw out random reversal hurricanes or something, eventually Dudley wins. The only way I’ve ever beaten him is by doing damage then running away, rinse and repeat.
For some reason I’ve never looked out for whiffed Dudley pokes which are within range of getting punished - its just that he has so many different pokes to throw out, some of them with much quicker recovery times than others, plus many of them can be chained into duck super etc moan etc - I just look for different openings.
I must admit though that I am no expert against Dudley. If a weaker player than me uses Dudley, I can win the match by turtling - I’m not good at rushing Dudley
Surely you can punish corkscrew blow with either RH sweep (mash the button) or SA1 without any trouble right? I’ve kinda got the timing down for punishing with mk sweep combo, but if I’m ever in doubt, I go for the two options mentioned.
in post #7 i mentioned punishing the cork screw blow without using a sa1. assuming u dont have the sa1, how to punish. thats what i wanted to know. and also, wut do u mean when u say mk sweep combo.
Oh, I get it. When you say sweep, you mean the low move. I think we were all under the impression that when you said mk sweep, you meant that the mk actually swept the opponent and knocked them on the ground.
:karate: lol, I never used to like using that term but only recently on some other characters forum I think I saw everyone referring to it as mk sweep, so I thought that was norm here
