Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t mind if NES Strider got a remake. I would just make Hiryu more like his arcade counterpart (more mobile).

It was a good game. I don’t think it’s a masterpiece or anything and it didn’t define my childhood. I can’t even watch the Ducktales cartoon anymore like most of the cartoons I watched growing up.
The Transylvania level was hard as fuck with that maze bullshit.
Rival Schools is the kind of IP that you would think we would see again. But Capcom is fucking dumb so whatever. Probably just get some lames to make a port for Xblocks live for 15 bucks lol.

I would not mind a remastered Darkwing Duck at all. I was unaware of the game until I youtube’d it just now. THAT is the closest we’ll probably ever get to a new Megaman title. Although the game looks awesome in its own right

I play the full theme of Ducktales in my car on a daily basis…
I like this idea, but on the other side of the spectrum, I wonder how this holds up under the nostalgia-o-meter. I’ve been burned so much by remakes of things I’ve enjoyed as a kid. The only thing that I can’t say was a total bust was the new Karate Kid. But, if it’s well done, then no complaints at all. Was one of the best Nintendo-era Capcom titles, along with the Mega Man games, and C&D RR, I played through it again in 2006, and it really held up well over the years. I hope the same is true about this one.

That’s gotta be the next one! Chip 'n Dale 1&2 Collection would ideal, but I doubt it seeing as how Ducktales is only getting the first game re-released.
CnD was the first game I ever actually beat.
It is odd, but it also kinda makes sense.
Capcom re-acquired the Marvel license in 2011 to make MVC3. The same Marvel that was bought out by Disney in 2009. So the possibility of them getting the Disney stuff back became a lot more realistic. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the exact same legal department. I’m sure a light bulb went off in someone’s head at Capcom when they realized just how many games they could resurrect with Disney back on their side, and Ducktales was just the first logical choice.
yea considering how Disney keeps shit in the “vault” it is kinda random this is getting remastered. Not that I’m complaining…just seems kinda random. Especially considering today that duck tales is nowhere to be found in the Disney lineup

Duck tales is one of the finest games I played as a kid, that said i remember very little about it lol, it was so long ago i haven’t played it since.
When the Strider reboot was leaked last year I remember some SRK’ers saying it was for the better lol.
