This game was cool back when I was like 8 or something. It would suck now, even with a fancy new face lift.
Excecpt for the fact that it’s a really ducking good game, being remade by a company that has a reputation for making 2D games.
Never heard of this game but I was reading the lyrics and the part where he says, “Just grab onto some Duck Tales” doesn’t make sense. How do you grab onto duck TALES? I mean if he meant duck tails I guess that would work since its at least something tangible but how would that help you if there’s danger?
They are doing a bit more work into this game than what I was expecting…

Oh my god so it was true that we are getting the DND games? No more saturn nonsense! I figured they were lost forever seeing how TSR is gone, wasn’t sure If wizards got it, or if capcom still had some jurisdiction. Man heard about ducktales but I thought the DND games were pure April 1st malark. Man summer will be awesome something to play after Evo to take my mind off of fighting games as an unwind.

I think some of the dudes at super or somewhere are game testers and were testing this. I remember hearing about it in the chatter. Exciting stuff. I love the moon theme. Have never played the game, though.

Eh, Moon theme is overrated, though I will give it the credit for being very simple and catchy. I prefer just about every other track on the soundtrack compared to it.
The Amazon theme is more whimsical and elicits more nostalgia than the Moon, personally.

So I just finished playing this for about 15 minutes and it’s not all that bad. Keep in mind that the “story” and antics in the game are modeled after the original Duck Tales. Basically, don’t expect something that will blow you away. This is a standard platformer with “crisp” graphics.
If you like your simple platformer games than I don’t see why you can’t enjoy this. I guess I’ll see what else is good once I play it a little more tomorrow.

The game is awesome! It reminds me of why i enjoy videogames so much.
Still need to go back and finish the last segment on Hard, that lava moves MUCH faster than it does on the vidoes I’ve seen of Normal. I saw one person beat it on hard, your cane is basically bouncing on lava by the last couple jumps.
Last boss was so good. I’m perfectly satisfied with dropping 15 bucks for the nostalgia.
