I’m happy they’re trying to establish this ver of the show as new with the heart of the old. Let a new generation of kids watch and love this series. Same thing with those before us who read the comics about Donald scrooge and everyone before the show was made.
Remastered is an exception to the rule since they went out of their way to make sure they got the original cast. Even Alan Young reprised his role as Scrooge even though he was in his 90s at the time.
I know this is a Duck Tales thread, but the amount of misinformation in this one post just boggles me for me to not post something.
Have you? This shit is still hand drawn now as it was back then. 3D shows have hardly become the norm. 3D commonly gets used to touch scenes up such as backgrounds or SFX, sure. But to say it’s all done in 3D is disingenuous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba55wWnEn3s
GG Xrd 3D animation is hardly reflective of traditional 3D animation methods and is not a good reference to use at all. The amount of care and attention to detail applied to Xrd is incredibly absurd and why no one else did it before they did. They practically invented and pioneered their own working conventions to achieve what they did.
Everything was pretty much hand crafted to mimic that 2D art style, every model in every pose during every animation for every angle. https://youtu.be/yhGjCzxJV3E?t=10m40s
i’m not liking the voices at all for any character. maybe because i’m so used to the original? the story telling seems different too but i’ll give it a shot anyways.
I agree, i watched the first few episodes the other day.
I kinda want to choke the life out of Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
And don’t get me started with the original version of Webbigail.
I don’t get how Russi Taylor ever got work as a voice actress or how she got a honored title at Disney as " Disney Legends".
I’m not saying he’s annoying. Every voice in the show is a “Character” voice. No one really sounds like Ms Beakley or Scrooge, they are very exaggerate versions of stereotyped vocal styles.
