Thundercats 2011 wasn’t bad, but its not like it was good either. It was a decent show that Cartoon network wanted to fail. Like most of the shows they throw on there not named ben 10 or Johnny test.

Beast Wars is an embarrassing shit stain on what otherwise part of a good property, Not as bad as the Michale Bay movies but in the over all way of things Watching Beast Wars is cringe worthy even compared to the camp 80s cartoon.

Sigh. Such is the nature of humanity and by extension the Internet.
All I have to say on this at present is that the new art direction looks surprisingly nice from the admittedly small bit shown and that despite being cautiously hesitant about this as with all things, as I think is appropriate in part for reasons that po already pointed out, I have a lot more “faith” due to this being on Disney compared to Cartoon Network or especially Nick–not that it really had a choice to be anywhere but Disney. It could still end up terrible given Disney has also done some questionable things with its new cartoons–waits for someone to chime in about Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, among other things–as well, but given that Ducktales is a more core franchise than the ones that are part of Marvel, perhaps it will be spared.
Disney has Rebels, that alone makes it the better network.
