I laughed so hard at this. Not even gonna lie.:china:

I’m salty for two reasons this week:

  1. Mother fuckers aren’t payin the fee at Dreamlab
  2. Dealing with soldiers in this weeks ragequit danisen.

Both of these will be fixed next week.

The handstamps are back. I’m going to be more on the ball about collecting the venue fee. Talk to me before you play.

pay your entry fees!!

btw i’ve been given the authoritay for the time being, to hold events such as below:

http://shoryuken.com/f7/arcade-infinity-presents-road-ssf4-ac-singles-tournament-9-12-2010-a-247762/

most of us are local to both dreamlab and AI, and/or far from both but still make it to both venues (<== this guy) so please come out and show support!!

is it still free if I buy PC time? cuz I’m always getting at least $5+ worth of pc time when i go

Dreamlab Super Street Fighter IV Rules - Effective immediately

Super Street Fighter IV will “ONLY” be available on Tuesday casuals only. $5 entry fee still apply (no exceptions). Allow me to explain the situation.

Dreamlab has become one of the most popular hang outs in SoCal for SF4 players, but I’ve decide to do things differently until the community shows more support. For those that have shown great support, I am very sorry, but I have no choice but to change the rules for following reason:

  1. “hey let’s go to Dreamlab, they have “FREE” SF4 there, if u don’t donate, no one will notice”

  2. “Im a top SF4 player, i don’t have to pay, no one dare ask me to pay”

  3. “the owner James is a nice guy, we’ll just take advantage of him, he won’t mind”

  4. “hey James, (or whoever at the front desk) can u fix the button’s!!, cuz im too lazy to bring my own.”

  5. $1 in the bottle does not mean u can play $10 hour

  6. "oh shit, i spilled my drink on the carpet, let me move my chair over, then no one will notice!!! "

just a few things off the top of my head, that’s all.

To What James said, You know who you are. Please do the right thing and keep DreamLab a major part of the SoCal community.

Seriously. if you want to pull shit like this, I can think of another LAN center in the OC that you could do this to. We’re currently looking into getting wristbands for tuesday casuals as well. If you want to play on tuesdays, be sure you’re wearing them or have a damn good explanation why you’re not wearing one.

There wouldn’t be an explanation, Kai. Either you wear one or you’re not in there. Zero tolerance policy.

Beyond that, make sure you change the color of the wristband every week so that anyone who tries to re-use one (by putting it on loosely).

Dude, James is a sick guy. From the times I was able to go to DreamLab, James was nothing more than extraordinary in terms of service and presentation. How, in the blue hell, are you going to dime this guy out? WTF.

Fucking kids…

Ewww double posts…

Oh, no worries. I’m dating the fucking wristbands and we’re putting it on you.

I’m also marking down when you pay, and holding the money separate. I’ll be able to count at any given time who has and hasn’t paid.

For computer time, one of the regulars needs to be at the counter with you as you purchase time. We can always ask Albert, Jeff, or Allan if you bought time recently, so no passing off a 3 month old hour purchase. The obvious exception is the PC regulars like Ken & Kevin and such, but everyone knows them by name anyway.

Finally, I’m looking at tyvex wristbands. Theyre the kinds you get at big events. They run for about 500 for $50, which is a bit much for initial payment. Looking for a cheaper option.

Oh. I don’t know any of that was directed towards me but that top player comment made me think about me (cause of my big ego). I always thought I was just going to keep buying time at DreamLab (which I did last week for like $20 for 10 hours or whatever). So uhm, I don’t know the options here? Can I keep adding to my computer time? Or do I have to pay the fee and computer time. :\ I’m always playing LoL at DreamLab since my internet sucks at home… Hmm… I don’t know if it was directed towards me or not. Either way I guess I’ll do both now?

Damn, this is seriously bull that people are trying to pull this shit. I couldn’t make it last week and can’t this week, I hope shits better when I get back.
