Allright, here’s the new ruleset. For simplicity, front stations are stations A & B. Lower stations are C & D.
~ Nobody can ask any employee directly for the copies to be used on station C & D.
~ Stations C & D can only be used on Tuesdays, with exceptions of groups of 8 or more
~ To get a copy of these games, you must ask myself, Tingboy, or Blockbuster Jon.
~ You must leave some form of ID with the game, which will be placed inside the case, and kept behind the counter. You can change with someone else if you need to leave and take your ID with you. ID will be returned upon return of the game.
Now I know it wasn’t one of us that took the game. But, the fact that the game was left inside the PS3 is our fault. We are guests of DreamLab. Please, lets make sure we treat this place like it was our home.
To lighten the mood, I got another clue for what’s coming Tuesday.
Dan isn’t just a character in Street Fighter.
Nows as good as time as any. Decided to do a little something for the players. The reward? Pride and bragging rights.
Super Street Fighter 4 Danisen battles at Dreamlab on Tuesdays.
We will be following the standard ruleset used in Japan and at Denjin for their 3S danisen.
To begin, register a character. Each character registered under your name has their own separate rank - For example, wins on TingBoy’s Hakan do not apply to his Ryu or his Honda.
You are allowed, however, to register multiple characters.
New players begin at 1st Dan
Players fight other players between rank 1st Dan - 4th Dan, then from 6th Dan - 10th dan. Afterwords will be determined later.
One win = +1 point, One loss = -1 point, +3 moves the player up 1 rank, -3 moves the player down 1 rank
Rankings go from 1st to 10th Dan, with special rankings after 10th Dan
After 10th Dan, players only fight other players of the same rank, and must instead get +5 points to move up a rank
You can only play a maximum of 7 games per character registered per session.
First games should run from about 8 and last until midnight. We will use only 1 station in front, so casuals will still take place.
