Everyone, Please take note of this post before you make your decision to play there. I personally dont think its fair to a player who warms up on the big tv’s for the tourney, and the other guy has beef with the latency so the match get’s moved to the small tvs. Thank you

again with our TV’s , so often i hear ppl complain about them… and some ppl say they r perfectly fine. if u PERSONALLY feel the tv’s will be a problem, come practice more on them, and don’t complain on tournament day. Justin Wong never played or practice on my TV, yet he win’s every tournament he join’s at Dreamlab. that’s just my 2 cent.

Okay to back up James. It is Bs that people complain about lag on the big T.V.s they have the same lag as A.I. Jack has said there is no lag, Justin his first time here in California said the TV lag is fine on the 1st setup. there are a lot of people who play for free sometimes so dont complain about lag if you dont pay!
this is not directed about anyone in this thread we know people who post here pay keep that in mind.
yeah theres lag on the tv’s and there are tons of people that just hate playing on lag. they might have the same lag as ai but what about those players that dont go to ai? those are the people who most likely are complaining. theres nothing you can do about it with the current tv’s and switching from tv to tv, console to console theres some time differences with the lag/console difference though it may be 1-2 frames but that can make a difference in your gameplay. (yeah i know console difference isnt much but ppl stil ldo complain about it). The best thing to do if you wantt o play tournaments here is do what the owner says, go there and practice on it to get used to it. i will admit i complained about the lag when i went there but i still had a great time regardless. if you know there is lag there and you still go then be prepared to play in the lag and just do your thing. ive only been there once for the tourney and i didnt know there was lag so yeah i had a small bitch about it but i didnt let it get to me, i still played and had a great time there. dont take this post as the wrong way, i just wanted to post my 2 cents but in reality asking people to stop complaining or you dont wanna hear anymore complaints is almost impossible. dreamlab is a sick place and if i lived closer i probably would go more often. keep doing what you guys are doing at dreamlab, you guys are doing a lot for the community and plus its a badass place to chill.
Will casuals still go on during the Ranbat on Tuesdays?
I hope I wasn’t misconstrued in any way, thinking I was complaining at all. I actually like all of the setups at dreamlab, especially the big setups. I was just referring to a few people’s matches getting switched to the other setups, and that people should have to play on whatever setups they’re assigned to. And that they shouldn’t complain about it because they were forwarned days ahead of where they were going to have to play.

Yes casuals are going on. We once again need volunteers to bring copies of SF4 for PS3.
James’ post is right. He is doing a lot to allow us to play in a friendly environment and has provided plenty of stations to do so. That being said, let me repeat: All tournaments will now be held on the Vizio TVs. Doing so has standardized our equipment. If you need some time to practice and get used to them now is that time. Not only is our SF4 ranbat season starting, but expect an even bigger ranbat season when SSF4 drops.

No 3S either, but out of respect to the 3S players, there will be no 3S on TVs that lag on PS2 games. With James’ blessing maybe we can bring one and set up towards the back.
