Yea, saw that one too. I think the bean exercise just kind of helped make my sketches a little more fluid looking
Yup, doing the bean exercise on a regular basis definitely increases the quality of your line. Iād even add that it gives it a more natural feel. Funny how the most simple exercises are always the best ones.
Anyone still drawing lol? I definitely loss some progress but starting to get back into it
Anyone still drawing lol?

Still learning the fundamentals thoughā¦ Staying motivated has proven to be far more difficult than i anticipated.
Currently on an abstract painting kick with acrylics. It is nice to take a break from the graphic design work at my job to create something without worrying about structure and finishing a painting when I believe it is finished.

Always wanted to learn how artists went about creating fighting game sprites. Are there any good tutorials out there or anyone on here that has some good tips about starting out

Anyone still drawing? Iāve been working on the fundamentals for the last 3-4 years. Kinda boring and really difficult, but necessary. Here are some quick gesture drawings.
Also for those interested hereās my twitter account dedicated to practice: https://mobile.twitter.com/TanrenK
Iāve been getting into digital art after going my whole life doing traditional. Not nowhere near where I want to be but have made significant progress. This the most recent piece Iām working on, Brachydios from Monster Hunter.
Iām trying to get started all over again after years of neglect. No idea where to start tbh. Might just start doodling and looking at videos until I figure something out.
I havent really been practicing at all. Occasionally do a quick doodle randomly. Going to start getting back into it soon.
A couple randoms
If you ever see random holes or lines all over the paper, thatās usually my sons doing
So I bought the first book of the berserk series. Definitely makes me want to get back into drawing. Wish I had a bunch of free time to actually get to a point where i feel like Iām actually improving
Did anyone download all the pdf books I posted? If anyone can reupload āColour and Lightā by James Gurney Iād really appreciate that (even though colour isnāt the main focus of this thread).
I think thereās another book Iām looking for but I forgot the name, Iāll let you know what it is later.
basically I canāt find the usb drive with all the books I saved and my laptop broke down a while ago so Iāve only managed to get back half the book I previously had.
Iāll be posting more books soon which should cover everything that we need and Iāll reupload every pdf book Iāve posted in this thread.
I appreciate the fact that you guys kept this page active for so long.
Iād highly recommend purchasing Will Westonās drawing tutorials if you have the money.
