Is this game worth picking up on Steam? How does it play exactly?
Yes and it it a fluid battle system where your AI companions are not quite complete retards and boss battles that require you to target weak spots and actually climbing on the beast.
Along with a robust class system that you can switch at any time, a great end game area, ever increasing challenge and infinite new game+ playthroughs.
Just don’t play as a Mage. That shit is snoresville
Nah. I’m using a mage and having fun, but a Sorcerer is infinitely times better.
So I accidentally ran into the Dark Arisen part already and I am only level 9, I only got to play part of the original DD so should I go back and do the rest or is it ok to do this then go back?
No that place is a post game area, anything in there is going to whoop your ass.
Maxing out the magic vocations felt so tedious to me. Just standing back and watching bars fill up instead of smacking harpies out of the sky with a hammer wasn’t my thing.
Bitterblack Isle was so fucking pimp. Just when you thought you finally beat it, nah son. Fight these 9 Minotaur, 3 Living Armors and throw in a couple Thunder Wyverns. The dash to Daimon’s room is always too real lol
