There is no timing involved in the carpet quest. After the narrator finishes speaking, just count to 3 secs, then move the carpet up or down. After the flames pass by, move the carpet in the opposite direction. Rinse, wash, repeat. It’s impossible to burn during this bit once you figure out how braindead it is.

Also look out for when the hands start appearing rapidly, that means either go up or down as they’re about to come forward. It’s really easy once you get the hang of it, but the controls are clunky and slow so you’ll have to move early.

you can knee jump cancel dive kick but it’s better to do it backwards if you perform it fast enough you can knockem into the wall behind you and then do dive kick infinite juggles or if you have good weapon placement you can grab your weapon and power slam them to KO
