They seemed to be mostly on Vita, but I’ve seen reports of some PS3 players running into really high level bone piles online… I’ve just been avoiding all the bone piles I see now. So glad I finished that resurrection quest before all this crap started happening
Also, @Pterodactyl, what’s your Dwarf build looking like? I need to respec a few things, but I’ve mainly been focusing on physical tanking and throw damage. Need to buff Adroit Hands so I can spam Grand Slam more often, lol.
Nothing fancy at the moment actually, still trying to get to lv50.
I basically just leveled up all of his skills besides bombs, eagle dive, fire barrel, and trinket maniac(which I might get in the future along with wealth to health in order to get healed after doing anything, so I can enter boss fights with full health or close). Adroit hands and Deadly fist kind of counter act each other, I’d choose one or the other instead of both.
Basically all offense and no support, going wrestlemania on enemies and sticking to bosses like glue, mashing out frenzy(while dodging attacks)until they go for a high damage/instakill attack. When they do that I use the Grand Smash(circle) invincibility frames and take out a chunk, activate fire fists and go to work again until it the buff goes away, and then go get my weapon and repeat.
Obviously some boss don’t allow this, at least not easily.
Defense and strength potion aren’t good to have, use them right before starting boss fights.
Chaos Labrynth gear is a must, unless you have better items.
You probably already have your Dwarf like this, or similar, seeing as how you described it.
I’m not really that deep into the character yet, trying to catch it up to my fighter, then decide which one I want to main.
Can I have multiple bags with Salamander oil or poison? Whoops, never mind. Yes you can. I’m gonna poison the shit outta that rabbit. Why does he fuck up everybody I’m in a team with? People just walk into his bites, NOBODY ever evades, and then he bunny-hops on their stunned asses. They never get the hell away when he does those dashes to start his tatsumaki…damn. It’s like people think they can just wade in swinging and come out okay.
I fall asleep with my Vita nearly every night and wake up tangled in my headphone cords. Somehow I’ve managed to become dependent on podcasts putting me to sleep.
To be fair, it’s really damn hard to see when it’s going to attack or when it’s safe to hit it.
That’s why I rarely go after it alone, it’s always nice to have someone distracting it, wether they’re doing anything useful or just getting demolished, so I can get some shots in while its back is turned.
Otherwise you really just have to widdle it away and hope you can dodge in time to not get stunned or instakilled, and that it doesn’t go into the invincible tornado and waste so much time the knights come in.
This all happens off screen. You only get it from the narrator during the build up to killing the Ancient Dragon the first time.
After he became king, he tried to cut a deal with the cult to get them to hand over the Dragon Crown. Nobody knew at that point that the cult needed to sacrifice a rightful king as part of the ritual to open up the Illusionary Lands. The old king had cockblocked them when he killed himself. So when Dean showed up for talks, the cult ganked him.
Credit where credit’s due, I got this from the Gamefaqs forum- but it is so useful it is worth posting here:
"2. You can buy the higher cost Prayers/Blessings and have them carry over to another character.
e.g Say you have one character with Infernal unlocked, you get access to Trailblazer Boon, then you switch to another character that doesn’t have Infernal unlocked, the Boon effect will apply to the character you switched too. This is pretty useful for gaining extra benefits on newly made characters."
