Dragon's Crown (Chun-li has been dethroned as Queen of Thighs)

The Kraken doesn’t need narration. In those type of boss fights it’s important to take down the tentacles first so they won’t be a problem later. Attacking them will bring down his health anyway so there’s no reason to ignore it yet niggas keep gunning for his head and they bodied easily.

Different strokes man.

I threw my brother into a game for his first time he was playing his way through Pirate cove. Level 1 straight up to the boss, didn’t confirm it was a shield effect on the kraken until he looked for dps info floating around the krakens head and by that time he had already gotten put in a bad position.

Chaos mode for dem S Rank items.

I hate typing on the Vita sometimes.

Yeah me too, its a pain sometimes.

I’ll be down for some co-op a little later. Like to wait for The Wife to get home before I start playing something online.

I like knowing what each skill specifically do and their synergy with other skills on top of knowing the little tidbits like how each of the skills scale; if they scale normally or do the benefits multiply per point, if they scale more than usual off a stat, do bullshit amount of damage in certain situation etc.

It’s one thing to just copy the best build, it’s another thing to understand why it works so well.

Also helps me make other builds that may be more fun while still being solid and not too gimmicky. Example being dark souls; once I found out how many builds there were and how many viable weapons there were, I found the perfect build for myself that suited my playstyle, well optimized for pvp and pve, had the weapons I wanted that complimented me and the gear I wanted for aesthetics and mobility. Made the game more fun for me than just blindly using the weapons that only I knew about.
*now if only my laptop didn’t bust, i’d still be playing it on PC :frowning:

Though I don’t look into the game in depth until I get a blind playthrough first.

on another note.

FAAAAKKK I just realized I was playing on wireless for MONTHS. I had the ps3 wired and all but forgot to change the settings back. All those 1 bars in other games fml.

But playing the game you would eventually figure it all out. By going online and studying the game like poindexter dont you ruin som of the surprise/magic of the game? It ruins the game for me.

Loooooooooooooooooooooooool you guys weren’t kidding, knocked the Ancient Dragon out of the sky in under 2 mins my first time fighting him, Red Dragon is way more difficult.

What’s there to explore if you’re going to blindly try find it without having an idea of where to look? Sorta like trying to find tech for fighting games without knowing the rules of the mechanics; you’re going to be spending time trying to figure out the rules instead of the interesting stuff to work on and finally enjoy. Hell maybe even break the rules. Melee became more enjoyable when I read up on all the advanced stuff and set out to practice them. Dark souls became even more enjoyable when I found out that’s theres a bajillion builds out there to try out and not enough time to do so.

Games with depth only give you more to explore when you look into it’s depths. I mean we all mention MvC2 as an example since people were still finding stuff for it.

Also I got too much games to play. So much good games being released this year lol

That’s why I did everything offline first before going online, including all 50 side-quests.

Well except hard mode path B bosses.

There’s 50 side quests?

Now that’s a spoiler for me rofl.

Oh, btw, the dungeon order/sequence for chaining when you enter through the gate is NOT randomized. It’s a continuous cycle in this order:

Mage’s Tower
Lost Woods
Ghost Ship Cove
Bilbaron Subterranean Fortress
Castle of the Dead: Catcombs
Ancient Temple Ruins
Wallace’s Underground Labyrinth
Forgotten Sanctuary
Old Capital

Actually, I may be wrong about the placement of Mage’s Tower. I went through the Stables and selected it first, so that placement is probable off. Everything else is legit, though.

Dragon’s Crown has more magic than a box of Lucky Charms, so no I’m not worried about that and continue to study all I can and watch videos

oh and Team AmASSzon, just sayin’

So apparently there are hacked bones out there that can CORRUPT YOUR SAVE. What happens is you pick them up, bury them and end up getting the fucked up shit the hacking scrub put on that proceeds to wreck your save file. Good thing I only play local coop.

^Wow wtf, people really have some pathetic lives if they have to go out of their way to wreck people’s games like that

edit: Yeah only time I’m doing online co-op is with SRKers. Just imagine if you got all of your chaos gear from LoC, only to have some fucking loser wreck your save with hacked bones. Wtf.

edit2: More like only playing online co-op with srkers and not picking up any bones regardless

small note, there are special NPCs that have great gear and cost a mill flat to revive, but these hacked cars cost about 10 mill it looks like. And seems you can aviod the glitch if you revive and dismiss them, 10 mill down the ground but preserves your saved game

I guess I would rather just play the game and figure it all out on my own. More gratifying imo. Seems to make it last longer too.

Anyhow, The Wife and Son are home now. Gonna hop on (vita) in just a bit. Try out that dungeon chaining.

Moral of the story?

Back up your saves (there are 3 slots), and save hackers need to die in a fire.

Niggas need to find something else to do with their time… just fucking ridiculous…

@Driz
I can do some online shit with you after the emloyee break at 10:30pm EST.

Y’know, some might think it’s an exaggeration or a joke…but I seriously would like to see people like that get executed in public.

…because it doesn’t just stop with them simply hacking a game save…you know damn well that they go out of their way to be a jackass little cunt in every possible situation in life. That would not be the only example of why people like that are a worthless piece of shit that will always be a problem in life.

Thanks for the heads up, but is there a source so that we can report it to Atlus?

Do we know what to look for in the bones themselves?
