Sorceress is pretty damn strong. I did all the solo kill boss quests and got all my talismans on Hard way below recommended level. Protect and Create Food make it nearly impossible to die and carry other players hard. You can roll with 3 npc melees + 4 skeleton minions, cast Protect + random CC spells, and watch them wreck things.

Ice is pretty much the best elemental staff. It has the lowest MP cost and the freeze chance is very high on trash monsters. Aerial ice horizontal charged shots (hold upforward + circle in the air) are really safe boss killers since they explode on impact with each shrapnel piercing for multiple hits.

j.charged shot x2 > evade back > charged shot > dj.charged shot x3 > evade back > charged shot x2 > airdash away

The bigger the boss, the more damage they take. Max levitation (+50% aerial dmg) and get some ice damage gear to boost your staff attacks and the Blizzard spell.

You can also use evade/jump cancelling with homing magic missile while facing away from the opponent. This lets you attack while running away the entire time. That’s what I had to do against the Killer Bunny when I didn’t have Ice Prison.

Sorry, I kinda had to treat it like real dining at home cause of how randoms handle food.

I’ll definitely make sure I don’t overstep the lines next time

Fuck you Kraken…
Fuck you Wraith…

Not going to solo those bosses until I get my Dwarf up.

I don’t even have enough gold for a stable ride…

Okay, I tried looking for this beforehand but couldn’t find an answer.

I’m lv35 and about to fight the Ancient Dragon, which I assume will take me to the next difficulty when I beat him. I have some incomplete quests. Will these quests carry over to the next difficulty? Will going to the next difficulty be basically starting all over having to go through each A path in sequential order before getting the chance to chain/online?

The main quest I’m worried about is The Owlbear Menace. Ever since I got this quest, they just don’t show up like they used to and I’ve only killed 3 out of 10 for the many hours I’ve had it active. Just wanna make sure I’ll still have those kills in hard mode, seeing as they seem to be rare as ice water in the desert.

The quests carry over, and you can do them in hard mode. The main story continues after you beat the game, so you don’t have to do everything over again.

Do items carry over between characters?

Yes.

I thought I was going to have that problem when I fought the Lost Woods B route boss on hard mode.

Finally got online today. Sorry I missed y’all SRK peeps, but the randoms I ran into were actually pretty competent-- we survived the magic carpet ride, the boat ride, AND they even knew what to do against the Wraith. First team consisted of Dwarf, Sorceress, Elf, and Fighter, and we were wrecking shit even though I was severely under leveled. Picked up a few S-Rank pieces too boot.

Also found out I suck ass at cooking… I’m always burning stuff because I can never get the damn food out of the pot/pan… I click the icon, but then I can never get the food out with the spoon… any tips?

It’s also hilarious to unleash a Power Smash, stagger a boss, activate the Lava Bangle and unleash some flaming fists of fury, lol. Gotta love dat Master of Fists Rune Spell…

after clicking the button that indicated you taking the food off a cooker, tap one of the dinner plates at the bottom of the screen ( preferably your own) plates correspond to player order.

All you have to do is click on the ladle icon over the pot/pan, then move the pointer over to your plate and click on it.

I’m gonna change my revive message to: ā€œGeez, what a boner.ā€

Just beat normal. Ready to REALLY get the shit started. I fucking OWNED the final boss. Red Dragon and Kraken were harder.

Since I am basically an Elf god I can say that Elf has to be top 2 in the game. I havent tried the other classes but Elf, Amazon and Wizard are probably IMO top 3.

At first I was doing X~O for low altitude OTG arrow then I realized she can instantly cancel divekick during jump animation, with the upgrade to her boots skill she becomes a damage per second machine since she can lolstomp with jump xx divekick xx jump

Oh yeah…she can do 4 dashes in the air. So thats jump, jump, dash, dash, dash, dash…and she can charge arrow in between any of those actions and cancel out of charge with another dash or jump…so she can stay in the air SUPER fucking long. The cherry on top is to can make another bootleg dash because her j.square also moves her forward and tracks. So you can move from one side of the screen completely to the next and then get a homing kick and cancel that into a divekick.

Her flash kick (up+square) can also infinity juggle airborne opponents.

On bosses I was basically doing slide xx flash kick xx j.square xx divekick xx charge arrowwwwww xx dash xx j.square xx divekick xx charge arrow…over and over.

Yeah…let me level up these other skills. I’m just cracking this bitch open

Or you could do

mash out arrow xx evade xx mash out arrow xx repeat

ehuehuehueheuhe

Anyways back stabs with knife has some crazy dps. Don’t have to max it out or anything but its really nice utility to have; one point into backstab is already 80% more damage on backhits with daggers.

The guy runs through skills of each characters. Insightful stuff

I kind of want to try maxing out Elemental Lore with the Elf.

Well if it scales only with Int* i’d probably hold off on it. If it has some modifier that scales with other stats too whatever main stat elves go for, sure why not.

*got it from the above vid. Could be completely wrong for all i know.

Anyways no matter, you can respec later if it doesn’t work out too well. For all we know it might be a later fotm build where elves gear for int and maxing elemental lore does some stupid ass damage.

Mash out arrow evade…until you run out of arrows then what?

I only use arrows to supplement.

Anyway…did I REALLY just win the amnesia elixir then I fucking sold it by accident?

They need to let you hand select what items that you want to move to your inventory and not make you choose to sell all or keep all. For this very reason. I just did one long run and I end up with 40 items in my spoils so i’m deleting everything in a rush and then sell the shit i just fucking won

Nothing wrong with a super simple but effective burst option when you need it. Was sorta playing around with that response but hey if something needs to die now, there you go. A dagger for backstabbing bosses is cool too when you don’t have arrows.

and sucks lol.

The guy in the video has create dagger + backstabber ability near maxed out doing 8k damage in seconds.

I was NEVER going to invest in that ability until I heard that.

Dwarf is pretty fun.

He has a lot of useless skills.

Which is ok, because that means I can Max out is useful skills, all of which are awesome.

Questions for higher levels dwarf players.
-Do the bombs on lv2 eagle dive hit flying enemies?
-What are the additions that come with leveling up eagle dive past lv2?
-Does maxing out/near maxing out toughness let you power through some of the stronger attacks?
-Do trinket maniac and Wealth to Health stack? And does trinket maniac apply to regular coins?
-is it possible for lethal fists to get your weaponless damage above or close to your weapon damage?

That’s cool, I was doing a dagger build Elf because my roommate was also doing an Elf and I wanted to try something different.
