I had a hunch, hence why I pre-ordered mine. Especially when there was only 1 copy of Muramasa at one of the two Game Stops near me. But, unless you really need to have the physical copy, you can just DL it from the PSN.
Iām getting stomped on hard. Most of the AI dies before I even get to a boss. Iāve been so dumb leveling up random skills for my Elf too lol. This game is fantatsic though, you can feel all the love that was put into it.
How much do you think that idiot at Kotakuās article actually ended up helping this game? I was talking to someone at one of the Gamestops I tried and he made it seem like they werenāt getting many pre-orders until Kotaku blew it up.
^Iād say the Polygon review helped more than anything Kotaku ever did. I saw that review getting blasted all over the internet, and especially the ingenious comments such as DC being a rape manual ensured a ton of gamers bought it just to piss polygon off. That combined with Kotaku equals a win-win for Dragonās Crown and a lose-lose for Feminism. >: D
and that annoys the hell out of me with Atlus games⦠like āok guys, hereās 25 copies total for the entire worldā¦everyone else from customer #26 on is just S.O.L.ā Nah, guysā¦how 'bout you print more copies?
Fortunately, the modern era of digital distribution eliminates that problemā¦you can just have the shit whenever you want if you pay the price for it (*I wouldnāt be surprised if the regular PS3 version is tough to find eitherā¦and a few months from now you know it will be IMPOSSIBLE to get the physical version)ā¦though yeah, I also prefer to have physical copies of games. I was lucky to actually get one.
I get random some connectivity issues at times. Itās been decent at the moment, since Iāve just been joining random games. Got to lvl 30 on my Elf. Dem kick combos go so hard. I wanna find more %Kick damage boots. I only have 16% Kick damage, so, hereās hoping these chain runs give me something better.
Donāt waste points on shockwave or judgement, save those for last.
Wealth for health is also useless.
I posted this a page or two back:
As far as general usage, use tackle often(dash plus square, or hold square and forward to dash and let go of square) to both start and end combos, especially against zombies, itāll knock them off of the screen keeping them from exploding or biting you from the floor, it also looks cool as fuck knocking enemies out if existence, with then leaving coins on their departure like cartoon characters. Blocking isnāt really needed against most goons but its amazing against bosses if you invest in shield tactics, which you definitely should. With enough points youāll be able to block insta-kill attacks from some bosses.
Cyclone masher and tempest edge are must haves, only level up rebuke to two unless you use it often or like going barefisted. Sacrifice is a useless, entirely.
For leveling, dump skill points into the second common skill, the one that boosts the value of coins, adds up a whole lot with all the various bonuses. Score = experience, pray for the score bonus at the church. Buy all the runes, write down the score boosting ones, especially the double score bonus, DSB, the D and B look like cents signs or money, except one is reversed. Click every sparkle, sometimes youāll get a bright yellow glow after clicking one, and if you keep clicking it youāll get a bunch of point items. Kill thieves always.
Upon some more playing I'll retcon my opinion of evade. It's actually extremely versatile, along with my using it for a quick get away/deadly revolve attack on the way out, I also found that I could evade in four different directions, XD. That gets really useful for some of the hard hitters(like a certain fucking rabbit I met earlier today), so I'll likely take some points out of hp max so I can max evade. Fuck Ammy goes from Wonder Woman badass to a goddamn ninja with a BFA. Rest of my build stands though as well as my opinions on the bnb
I feel you. I called every Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy in my closest 2 cities and nada. I got mine off of Newegg because they have no shipping charge for this game.
Hey, If you want to go free 99 I suggest you hook up with someone who has the digital copy and agree to a trade, which is what I shouldāve done now that I think about it.
WOOT played for like 40 minutes and jumped 4 ranks up to 20 (I love how fast net play gets you levelled up), scored 4 talismans (4 more and I can take on Shendu- uh, I mean the ancient dragon), and got an s-ranked weapon (which I canāt use until I go up 2 ranks). This is grinding I donāt mindā¦nothing like regular rpg bullcrap.
