But really - Elf was bottom tier, with Zon as of the last patch wasn’t it?
It was Wiz, Fight, Dwarf, Sorc, Zon/Elf, right?
If gear actually scaled in the end, and endgame wasn’t just a place where everything that wasn’t instant iFrames went to die, it would make for a lot more impetus to grind up new Tower viable characters, since I sold my PS3 over a year ago.
Yeah, late end game is the only think I hate. IIRC it’s like Wiz >>>>> Fight > Dwarf=Sorc > Amazon=Elf though
Not saying Wiz isn’t fun, but it’s a shame that the most fun characters are also the weakest in the end game. They’re fine up until then though.
Well Sony does slot of things better, some are obvious other debatable, the one area Sony is heads and heals above Nintendo is how they handle online

Dwarf=Sorc… I was almost exact.
I loved Fighter at near endgame… he was meh until then, and meh at actual endgame, but a gatdamn blast with a Zon Ammy and a self-repairing Petra sword, or the one that gave Ice-Storm procs.
We need gear that levels up to enemies infinitely, at endgame.
And more things like that Ice-Storm proc, and the Elf’s Freezing-Slide Ice boots.

On another note, I have been playing a lot of Grim Dawn’s expansion of late, and it has been a blast.
I am currently leveling up a Death Knight (Soldier/Necro), and running through tjhe content like a Mac Truck.
Level 62, zero deaths, and not even one close call.
Necro is stupid strong for all the non-skeleton reasons.
Poor Battlemages can’t buy a break.
