i never cared for platinum trophy’s cause i always thought people with plats are motherfuckers with too much time on their hands so they waste it on useless shit. the more plats you have, the less of a life you got.
i almost got plat with kof 13, but i stopped because the plat would look gay, even though the 13 plat is probably the most manly and skill based plat you can get (needed 40 more online fights for plat, but fuck the online in this game). most plats are useless and a chore, taking up too much time or forcing a grind or whatever. plats are dumb. if they were actually skill based then i would have respected them a little more.
If I’m dedicated to a game, I’ll get the plat. So far that’s ff13 part 1 and DC of course, but I can see pursuing others in the future. And I have the time Lego Marvel Superheroes may be next…

I kind of agree with Jride, the road to lv255 is a long and mainly uninteresting one. Thankfully I have 4 local players to share in my suffering along the way
So, holy shit it’s nice to see that a giant forum like this is still active. I’m completely new to the dragon crown scene, not even level 50, only got 50 or so hours into it. But yea, it’s such a great game, it scratches all of my itches. I spent an hour or so reading up on all the pages and info here. I play Amazon myself, figured I’d say hi after all that reading since you folks seem pretty friendly.

The game is still my favorite beat em up ever and I will keep playing long after this thread dies. Vita crossplay is amazing.
Only issue with that is my wireless is a butt, so I have issues with keeping connected. However if I get it fixed up I’ll be sure to do so. Also yea I have it on the vita, lack a ps3. I use it pretty infrequently though least while my wireless is dicking it up. Edit: Well never mind what I said above. Apparently the memory card I’ve been used just fried. Sure glad I didnt have the kind of progress most of you seem to have, I think I’d end up crying. Starting over is go.
Today I browsed through this thread from page one and it was fun to kinda relive all the hype everyone had. We speculated on virtually every minute detail released, couldn’t wait till the release date, and then did our best to help everyone level up and get through everything.
I know this thread and game really isn’t that old, but it already has a great feel of nostalgia.
that’s cause you’re retarded. simply put in most games you have to spend lots of time doing dumb shit to get a plat. there is very little skill involved meaning your plat doesn’t mean shit. but this s probably to difficult for you to understand dumb fuck.

Not much has changed, I just have to use a different console to be online. I can still take peeps to the edge, just under “FreeVidness”. The ban was for attempts to play online using firmware lower than the required.

Just borrowed the game from a friend a week ago, about to finish the main quest on normal.
I know “the game” doesn’t start until endgame, but DC is easily the most fun with a game I’ve had in a very long time.
Once I get through hard I need to add the lot of you, the absolute stupidity of your AI partners is probably the only problem I have with the game.
you know what really sucks? its fucking bs that tom goes that far. let me word it differently, for all i care it went up to the trillionth room, what i don’t like is how i can’t reach the cap, 255 within a 100 or even a couple 100 rooms in tom. unless you close to max level even normal dungeons are way too hard to finish. what kind of shitty gameplay design is this? not to mention you get the same loot every 100 levels, no reason to go loot hunting beyond floor 100.
i hope they release 1 more patch and actually think it through this time.
Just started hard campaign. Damn that was a reality check.
On normal I could pretty much get away with murder, now every mob has Real Nigga versions of the regular goons, everything hits harder and I was unprepared for the new boss patterns.
For the folks that have been playing Inferno since that dropped I’m sure this is quite funny, but Jesus Christ I had no idea how bad at Dragon’s Crown I really was until now.
