I need to quit bullshitting and get you lvl 99 mofos to help me body infernal mode. I’ve been playing that new Turtles game and fuckin D3 just dropped. Too many damn games, not enough time!!
Im getting tired of questing. I hate the ones that take multiple runs to complete…I think im just gonna go fight that super dragon and move to infernal.
p.s. I just realized that you can have your own music playing during this game. I didnt even know that was an option on the vita.
Most games on the vita allow you to do that. Not all of them though.
Questing is good for the min max aspect because you get more spec points but overall you don’t need to do them, it is abit tedious when you have to do them again with another character unless you turn them on and go in an order to get the most quests completed at once, that being said thats pretty awesome that the game lets the vita version play your own music, when I was doing some questing/grinds I just put on some guilty gear music or straight up would watch some KOF tournament footage.

Are there really that many that require multiple level runs? The orc, wood golem, gladiator, and owl bear ones do, but I can’t think of any others that do. Maybe the resurrection one, if you don’t spend all the time collecting skeletons.

you can just have those active at the same time and continue playing. shouldn’t go out of your way to accomplish them separately. get your bag slots up and have the items equipped as you do your playthroughs.
but ideally, you should just hold off your quest runs and just run them through in normal after you’ve leveled up high enough. yes, i know it scales YOU back, but with higher level npcs, you’ll just breeze through everything. i did my quest runs and got them done in about 4-5 hours one night (around 20-25 quests total).
get to infernal and start leveling up. hanging around in hard is just wasting time.

Yeah, I finished the quests ages ago. They weren’t too tough.
Nerfing in co-op games.
I’ll never understand that shit
Just throwing this out there, but you can finish the quest and just up and quit the Dungeon. No need to finish the entire dungeon if you just had to go through one room…
I don’t mind the concept of quests, but for many of them I wish just doing them once auto-completed them for your other characters as well.
Doing something like Living Fossil six times if you wanted one of each character…
I’d like to see each character have their own specific set of quests.
If a class is overpowered to the point that it trivializes content, then I see no reason why a developer couldn’t make that call. OP classes in coop games tend to discourage class diversity and prevent players of that class to really show off their skills. As someone who has played OPed classes in other games, it can really diminish your achievements to the point that many players prefer to play classes that aren’t considered especially powerful.
The whole point of a coop game is to work together to overcome challenges. A big part of that is each player feeling as if they’re making a meaningful contribution to group success with the choices they make. If one class is clearly superior to the others it diminishes this and is overall negative for the game. To illustrate this more clearly, imagine playing a coop tabletop RPG where one party member has vastly more levels than the others. Do you think this is going to create a fun experience for everyone?
Also consider game balance in terms of challenges that a game designer places in front the players. If you make the content harder instead of nerfing the class, you’re just making it even more difficult on the other classes and again discouraging class diversity. You have to look the game beyond just clearing content in the fastest and most efficient way possible.
In any case, I’m sure most gamers have suffered through nerfs and buffs. Just adapt and overcome. As long as you’re not too gimped to do content and have fun playing the game, why should nerfs matter in a coop game?
Honestly I see no point in the nerf aspect just buff the other character and unless you are doing random then it might get annoying if there is an op char. But so far other than the hackers that I have listed There is no op class. Oh yeah that one Japanese script hacker no hacked items dropped but he already got around the patch checked his equip before I buried his ass and all 255 items with max dur. max damage ect. God I honestly don’t understand it. The only time I use my cap characters is if I help someone on a run and I give them a choice on what they would like me to use to compliment thier current party. but thats only if they ask for something. If not I will grab whatever.
The Char. aspect of quests is yes you must do all of the quests for a brand new char. thats what I meant by the tedious aspect. But several of the map specific quests you can get over with in one shot. It’s not bad but usually on hard when im going through thats when i get rid of all of them in one shot by plotting map runs from the stable to end all five at once then go back to town and do another five. It doesn’t take long its just what you got to do to get the most out of lvl/skill points.
Can’t wait for random LoC runs though. I get alot of them but I can’t wait to just join one every time right off the jump. In fact I stopped doing them past lvl 9 now unless someone asks or until this patch which will be awesome.
One map me and two guys fought minotaurs on every single map that was a wierd run.
The quests wouldn’t be so bad if you could just stack them all at once instead of only limiting to 5. Although having to do them all again on every character… really annoying considering how mandatory they are if you want a complete build.
Completed LoC with a dwarf buddy of mine playing as elf. It really felt anticlimactic when it was all finished. The only thing you are rewarded with is a congratulatory sentence. With that completed all the way I think my elf will retire for a while. On the way through the place I found 2 bows with 255-255 stats, one of which was a chaos mimic bow (clone strikes +50% DMG gdlk) so they are pretty damn rare. Actually anything with 235+ low end dmg seemed to be on the rare side for level 99 weapons.

Glad I’m not the only one. Should shut the crybabies at Gamefaqs up though
Hey thats cool congrats but yeah I guess they can’t really give you anything more especially on the high levels of loC other than maybe an instant death weapon but that would be abit ridiculous.
I had a name change. Bunkwifa the Sorceress is now La-Uh the Sorceress.
Anyhow, I concede, I have been defeated by the super dragon.
Had another run in with XJowns the hacker he bricked the game and then got snarky when I called him out on his hacking.

Still haven’t bought this game but SOON!
Does it have like a Wikia or gear/stat/build info site? I don’t want to think for myself when I make my Wizard and Amazon.
No not yet but if you ask nicely Im sure some people will share builds with you.
