Honestly speaking I wouldn’t really care too much at all… But yeah, it is the last difficulty. I hear the LoC is crazy in the upper levels though

Actually if you want challenge last difficulty is floor 99 on LoC. lvl 255 Demon Lord.
Also like was posted to get the most out of Sorc. Ice Prison, Adroit hands, evade, her damage dealing spells deep pockets for 2 food and protect. Anything else is up to you but that generally works oh and stacked gear. Elf is almost done moving onto pure melee soon and then if anyone wants to LoC run Ill be down for whatever.
Elf is awesome though being able to solo bosses and get all of their patterns and man handle them has been fun. Also for dragon see pro-tip above it works every time, all difficulties and you always get your orb. Last time it was me and two fighters they got to a point where one was joining in and the other was tanking for us that party was awesome.
Also whenever he does his ground pound/jump stay air borne, if he breathes fire jump into the back ground to dodge.
if you find yourself with Char. name LKX User Id xJowns its a hacker he was using an elf with normal gear and doing 999999999 every hit. his hp never dropped below 999. dullest party ever.
we had really good speed run times though. 
To the player that thought it was cool to lock everyone in the room with the slime creatures by holding the key hostage…fuck you very much.
This is like one of those times when I wish I can serve out some good old PvP notice then proceed to wreck his shit with a lv90 character.
BTW, anyone’s done some serious PvP yet? My dwarf did some half-assed attempts at killing my gf’s amazon. He didn’t fare too well against whirlwind + warpaint all over the fucking place :S

Craziest LoC room I’ve gotten(beginning of infernal) was, blue slimes everywhere, 2 elite skeletons, and a gazer, it was pretty brutal.
Yeah I had a pretty good win streak against PC’s and it was with my Sorc. PVP is the one definate arena that the Sorc can’t be beat.
Figured. Blizzard + lightning + protect = dead mofos everywhere. Immunity vs freeze is probably a must vs sorc. Even then it’s an uphill battle for most classes. Poor dwarf doesn’t seem to have anything going for him in the pvp department. Things just come out way too slow. Maybe eagle dive + bombs?

I haven’t done any PvP yet, but couldn’t the dwarf just grab all the other melee characters pretty easily?
Well my limited experience with my ~lv40 dwarf (with quite a lot of points in power bomb & lethal fists) against lv40 amazon is that attempts to grab usually result in the dwarf getting hit. Sure you can trade damage but even after pumping up it’s usually not favorable for the dwarf. Then again there might be ways to follow up the grab to maximize damage but I haven’t discovered them yet.
His normals are also not much to look at. The hit stun is not long enough for the last couple of hits so even after you hit confirm the amazon can still parry them and fuck up your day. I guess you can play mind games by mixing in grabs but nothing stops them from just mashing evade to get out of the way.
This isn’t a PvP game. The PvP is there simply because people would have bitched if it wasn’t. Now it’s in there for people to go in, realize the system is poor for PvP, go “wow that’s gay, ______ can just do _______ and win for free” and then go back to the real game.
If you can’t tell, I also main Dwarf. =/

Another patch for Dragon’s Crown - Wizard and Amazon buffs, as well as improvements to finding people to run LoC.
Oh finally something got done about that. I love that they are still patching everything to make the game more long lived. Almost a month old and still doing good. I’m glad they are supporting this game still.

Seems like a strange two characters to buff, though I won’t complain, my wizard will just be more boss.
Edit: No idea on the validity of this claim, but from the comments section of that article in regard to amazon: “What this article doesn’t mention is that they also halved her damage. Have fun!”
Yeah, Amazon got some nerfs as well. Brandish damage is down, Warpaint damage is down, and Berserk runs out faster (but apparently it runs out in stages now rather than just losing it all at once).

They didn’t really specify how they buffed the wizard. Apparently he can now continue to hold square after his MP is fully charged to increase magic attack power. Maximum seems to be capped at two times the normal magic power and it also gives additional visual effects for the spells (!). It only lasts a very short time though so you need to time it.
LoC multiplayer option is a bit dumb. You need to try joining level by level. It will only join games when it finds real players inside that particular level.
Also, durabilities now show up in the bag selection screen. Couch COOP will allow all players quest state to be saved. Players consensus seem to be that most classes have been buffed especially “wind” elven magic, but amazon definitely got nerfed. Yeah take that you bitch <- my dwarf. Seriously though I wish they don’t nerf anything at all but it seems assazon is a bit more technical now. Might be a good thing.
EDIT: Oh yeah hacked items got their stats pulled back to the normal range. LOL @ bitchass hackers crying everywhere. No more 10mil bones.
EDIT2: I don’t think there’s any new item in LoC. Prob just myself daydreaming.
