Here is Bunkwifa the Sorceress as of last night. Her power grows ever stronger.

I also noticed that it says “NPC” next to a characters name if they take off.

Still need to quest more so I can get that SP for more spells. I just end up doing chains with randoms though.

Dude your skill points are EVERYWHERE. You probably want to get a respec potion as soon as possible.

Im too lazy for all that, besides Bunkwifa the Sorceress is a beast. She can only get stronger.

I got to the level cap for hard. Gonna run though the couple dungeons I need then move on to whatever difficultyis next.

P.S. I actually had to continue last night. Decided fight the red dragon in his lair.

Okay dude just trying to warn you for later on if you ever make it to infernal mode. While she only does get stronger, you can make her even more stronger if you concentrate on certain skills apposed to having a dip in everything, but hey, it is your game so don’t mind me.

Funny, his skills look like mine, somewhat. I actually just beat hard with my sorceress at level 61, which was more annoying than anything else. I forgot to use my damage potion the first time, so I ended up dying after the dragon healed. Went back in and that was that. Ice Prison is pretty good for containing those skeletons and knocking back the third wave of energy shots the dragon uses to wreck your cover (since those come in so low and he’s already switched to the other cover since then).

Now, just to level up before respecing taking on Infernal.

A Sorceress with only 1 level in Evasion in Infernal mode is going to be rough. Not to mention anything past floor 6 in the LoC.

Only one rank in Adroit hands is also likely to produce rage inducing situations for when you really need to chain spells when things get hectic.

Not trying to tell you how to play your character, just speaking from personal experience.

If you are above lvl 60 you should be fine taking on the first 3 levels of the chaos dungeon. 3 floor= 1 level

I think I’m 3 or 4 in Adroit Hands, because I like doing Ice Prison+Gravity/Rock. My skills are more disparate, but I’ve got a lot more SP to play with, because I finished all of the quests with my Sorceress as soon as I could.

I didn’t like gravity. I tried using it a few times and it never reallly worked out. I do love Ice Prison and Rocks though. I need to get my HAND SKILLZ up because I keep getting my ass handed to me waiting for my spells. I’ll spend the last 10 points on Adroit hands probably

Saw it in a 7-11 one afternoon, many years after playing the Genesis one to death.

Two quartered it on a whim. Very nearly went Japanese style, and one quartered it. But alas, too long, no shitty American bat top sticks.

I have a good amount of success with dropping a gravity in or around an Ice Prison to pull enemies into it. And Gravity’s cool down is so quick, I can drop a rock after that, too.

Honestly, Gravity isn’t all that good until its pull range is maxed out. It controls a good chunk of area at that point.

I ran into a person online that was only using a wand + spectacles, and had every other slot filled with spells. She was getting one-shotted by every goddamn thing on infernal.

was her name Bunkwifa?

I like using maxed out Rebuke for invincibility and large burst damage, and maxed Judgement is rather nice for repeated jump cancel damage. I ended up respeccing to take both of those for deep LoC runs, since there’s just some times where you can’t possibly get a Tempest Edge started. Of course you’ll want to carry two swords for double Rebuke goodness.

Yeah, to bad none of you play with me. Only that one dude has witnessed the glory of Bunkwifa the Sorceress. My skills are top notch.

Did two quests today. No gear no npc runs. Beasted without losing a life. Either I got mad skill or yall just mad weak.

Huh, I’ve been out for a while, missed all the criticism and such. I find it funny that you’d complain about the game being too easy, as I was just earlier arguing with one bloke on a retrogaming site that felt the game was too hard once you get to Hard/Infernal mode.

Honestly, though - you think that the game fails because you can’t go for a 1CC run? You think the game fails because you can’t beat it in less than an hour? Do you think that is even relevant at all anymore? Honestly, do you not already hear the laments of “I beat this game in an hour, what a piece of shit, why would they ever charge $50 for this?” from every critic and gamer? (Hell, I was pissed that I got through COD:MW2’s story mode within 4 hours.)

Those beat 'em ups don’t exist outside of those that are produced primarily for arcades. This game isn’t supposed to be in the same company as D&D:SOM or AvP, but in the same company as SPvTW and Castle Crashers, and I feel that, even though I loved both those games, DC is superior to both of them. There’s actually playstyle variety in this game compared to CC, where every character is mechanically a copy paste of each other, and it’s got actual replay value compared to SP, where you literally can’t go back to stages 1-5 without just one-hit KO’ing everything from being overleveled.

Also, good shit Cryoh for playing Tokyo Jungle, that game is one of the best.

Im just assuming this is directed at me. I never really complained that it was too easy, just stated my opinion. I never said the game fails. In fact, I think I said I love the game. I never mentioned anything about 1cc runs or anything. Just that I think its easy. I dont get why that bothers some of you.

Not directed at you, but the guy who started the whole mess.

I am still pissed at all the people on the retrogaming forum I frequent who keep nagging about the game for the most banal reasons. It’s like everyone hates the game over there, and it makes no sense considering that’s the kind of game a retrogamer would eat the fuck up. It’s like if Sonic/Mega Man/(Some other equally screwed series) fans got a new game that felt like a real, new game in the series and all they could do was complain about every little fucking nitpick.

HEY I PLAY TOKYO JUNGLE TOO YOU BASTARD!!! But seriously though, why are you taking so long to get to infernal mode??? I want to see you do no armor/npc runs on any of the dungeons on infernal.

Challenge accepted. I wonder what you’ll say when I post my victory screens? Infernal is the last difficulty right?

P.S. I just need to fight that super dragon now but ive been doing quests the last couple days. I really dont play a lot, just a few dungeons a night.
