Dragon's Crown (Chun-li has been dethroned as Queen of Thighs)

Thats how it was pre-patch.

If you join a random room that is, it’ll try to send you to different rooms until it finds you and/or your party a lobby to fill up.

If you join a friend, or your friend joins you, it’ll be auto-private I think.

Or maybe it’s only auto-private if you turn off all join slots except for your friends(if not a full lobby of friends), either way you won’t join or switch lobbies.

Friends have said I am Swadloon since he is frowing/looking mad/disappointed all the time. So I tend to rock a Swadloon avatar these days, even on DotA 2 and Twitter. lolz

Pterodactyl, after posting earlier and thinking about it, I remembered that Lethal Fists has synergy with the Dwarfs throws as well (pretty much anything that isn’t neutral attacks/mashing counts as an unarmed attack for him), so I’m not sure if getting rid of Lethal Fists entirely is a good idea. From what I’ve heard, later LoC levels make it difficulty to even start up Frenzy lest you want to die horribly, so I’m guessing a Dwarf’s main source of damage is going to be from throws since they provide CC and a pretty safe way of doing damage. If Frenzy is no longer useful, I’m trying to think of where else those points should be put into (although Frenzy should be fine on most bosses, so long as you evade cancel before the uppercut part starts).

In terms of shit to master I’d say
Deep Pockets
Ardiot Hands
Bombs/Barrels
Powder mastery
Power bomb
Grand slam
Lethal Hands
Vit boost
Toughness
Rock Skin

Everything else you can just dump a point or two into it.

Frenzy really is only good on bosses, and even then it’s not that good.
Didn’t spend enough time with Fire bracers, but I don’t see needing it maxed.

Max Toughness but not Rock Skin? Rock Skin way more important IMO and greatly strengthens Toughness’s effectiveness.

Oh shit. I knew I was forgetting something.

+1 on this. Elemental Lore also works when standing next to Sorc’s Ice Prison - which lasts for 20 seconds and blocks enemies from passing. It also frees you from an Elf trying to stand on top of you all the time.

Which bosses can you gain food from in the cooking mini-game? I’m trying to platinum this game and eating all types of food is one of the hidden trophies.

Here’s a good guide for getting the gourmand trophy:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/633261-dragons-crown/66880606

You have to eat all the food with one character, right?

I’m sure I’ve eaten all the food by now, but that’d be over about three or four characters. Not a big deal, I have a check list running with my main character and all I need are the Killer Rabbit, Archdemon and Kraken food for it.

sheeeit, my Dwarves (yep I have created 2) seem so much easier to just obliterate things with, compared to Wizard… I can be dishing out the damage all the time, and it’s beautiful… from jumping upward causing hits then hitting things on the way down into that Blanka Ball-looking move, then immediately hitting after it, Grand Slam then more punches, it just goes on and on… I haven’t even gone back to my Wizard character in quite some time now.

Yeah its abit of a pain to get but basically all food types eaten in both manners. Fried as well as boiled. That goes for boss monsters as well. Dragon you have to beat twice because it only spawns once per boss fight. Not difficult just tedious also doing it offline is easiest that way you are guaranteed access to the foods you need and don’t have to fight over it with someone else. Legendary strike there is a youtube vid for universal class access that is pretty good but it involves a bit of a setup. Otherwise I do believe that it is a wizard only trophy to get that kind of damage.

Swift chaos arm +30% attack speed greatly reduces frenzy start up time.

And how does lethal fists synergize with throws?

My path with this game has been the exact opposite of yours. I started with my dwarf, maxed him out (lvl 35) and finish the normal playthough. Then I’d figure I’ll the wizard and I haven’t put him down yet. Got him to lvl 53 and almost done with my hard playthrough with him. He’s not instant gratification by no means, starting out with the wiz can be pretty tough. But Once I re-speced and got some legit gear, Ive been having a blast. Slow+Blaze+Fire Gate is a lovely combination. I’ve learned Slow i so essential in groups, it keeps the big baddies stationary so your team can beat the shit out of them. Pretty much obliterated every single B path boss with this method with WolfKiller and his crazy Amazon. (good runs homey)

I disagree, super hard, yo.

Deep pockets(duh)
Power bomb(max)
Frenzy(max)
Grand Smash(max)
Toughness(max)
Rock skin(max)
Vit(level 7)
Nutrionist(level 1)
Powder mastery(max)
Lava Infusion(max)
Evasion(level 2)

Gear:
Chaos Hammers(+50% Rock Skin)
Chaos Belt(10% chance to summon a lightning bolt on hit, especially great for frenzy)
Chaos Swift arm(+30% attack speed) great for frenzy start up, and lets me release that lightning faster and more often.
Chaos Amulet(at full health, +20% damage on all attacks) useless unique effect IMO, but I don’t have anything better at the moment and I don’t feel like starting to Zon grind yet for that +1 HP on hit amulet that would benefit Frenzy, and the knight even more so)
Some S rank Mantle(a lot of resistance buffs, including +40 something% knockback resistance, and the same for knock down, and something else for stun I think)
Bangles, Def potions, HP potions, Str potions, and whatever’

I’m only level 80 something right now so I have a few more SP.

Also, shit son, the wizard has a belt that’s +50% damage to enemies with status ailments.

The fire bangles ignite enemies don’t they?

Throws are considered unarmed attacks, I believe. I need to do a bit more testing though.

I’ll believe it once I see some facts.

Doesn’t make sense.

What I can believe though, is throws doing more damage when you’re actually unarmed. That’s not really worth it though, IMO.

so like, after the patch it seems horizontal dwarf throws that cause wallbounce deal damage at the wallbounce itself, rather than when the enemy touches the ground after the throw and wallbounce. So like airgrab > horizontal throw >airgrab > horizontal throw x N actually deals damage.

I noticed that too, but I couldn’t remember if it was always like that or if I was going crazy. Because of the way it worked before, I rarely used horizontal throw; power bomb was just so much better in every way.

Finally stepped into Infernal mode. And played a few online games for the first time! Having real people back you up is such a vast improvement to those bunk ass NPCs. Reset my skills again as well. Not sure I seem to get much use out of iron will or incite rage. Still debating if max health is worth it or not.

Just so you guys know (didn’t see it mentioned here either), the Deep Pockets SP glitch has been fixed. If you invested in Deep Pockets and respec, those points you spent will NOT be refunded.
