My dwarf “ABUSE” has been getting the spotlight lately… recently hit 18 so he’s still fresh to the game. I didn’t realize until reading either this thread or another one at another board that you can apparently do Grand Smash multiple times (cutting some cool-down) if you simply put more weapons in a bag…I just got the skill that makes him drop bombs with Eagle Dive. Dwarf is so much fun… oh and he laughs at The Gazer. Oh, you can shut down magic by looking at me? Sheeeit, good luck shutting down raw physical strength dishing out this gorgeous ass-whoopin…yeah.
Logged off for a bit to download the patch. Remapping shortcuts to L1 instead of up on analog makes life easier.

So how does that work for the treasure points that keep glowing for multiple clicks? Do you just leave the pointer there and watch the score items flow out? Having to rapidly click in RS would be pretty rough on the stick over time.
I started using Amazon.
At first I didn’t like using her because I kept trying to parry effectively…and I was getting my ass owned.
After leveling up her Evade, Punisher, and Berserk…she’s a fucking monster for mashers.
I soloed the Kraken…and straight owned that calamari at lvl 17.
I can see why some would say she’s overpowered.
Question though…when I was in the Mage’s Tower, there was this enemy that looked like a zombie…but it has clear skin and it was trying to jump at me. WTF was that? I don’t see it in the artbook.
I wish this game had a beastiary.

I honestly don’t know. I haven’t found any multiple clicks since the patch went live.
That clear enemy is a doppleganger. If it touches you or one of your party, it pulls a Ditto impression and copies you.

I just beat the game with an Amazon today as well.
Seriously, I blew through the game with her, start to finish it took me 5 hours, maybe less. Soon as I could chain dungeons, I just did one long chain run of all nine A paths with score prayer + hitting all the DSB runes, then I did the first five Path Bs in a run, then the last four Path Bs in a run. Beat A.Dragon at level 29.
All I got left is the Sorceress and the Dwarf.
Found a multiple click just now. Just keep the cursor there and it will puke out everything.
this was basically my day as well, cept i beat a.dragon at 31. amazon makes things really easy. finding a bit more difficulty on hard, but i’m sure when my level catches up to me, it should be just as easy. there are some buff upgrades that seem to just make this game silly.
Yeah, Amazon is #1 in the game, imo.
The transparent skinned monster is a homonculus. If you wait long enough, it transforms into you, or one of your allies, and fucks you up.
I figured so…they reminded me of the homunculus in the Castlevania games.
I might let one touch my Amazon and see the madness commence.
I would trade auto clicking treasure for auto runes any day. I can never remember the right combinations and end up clicking through all four half the time.
The wiki is still obviously a work in progress, but it’s the closest I can find to a bestiary.
I just remember the ones for Extra Item Stock, Double Score Bonus, Enchanted Coin Geyser and The Phoenix Incantation - those are the only ones I care about.
In each case, the rune combination is the initials. For example, DSB for Double Score Bonus. Just look on the walls for the rune that looks like a B, then use your S and D runes and bam, you are good to go.
I always hate in when people will use both runes on the wall when just one will do. Like, they’ll use the B rune for what could have been DSB, but instead use the G rune next to it and mix it with their D rune for Dead Be Gone, or the S rune next to it for Strength Beyond Strength. No one wants that crap, we want more score, dammit!
