LMFAO!!! Nabisco points.
Thanks for the link dude.
As long as its not based off Tenkaichi or Raging Blast, we might have something remotely playable.
So, that’s Ultimate Butoden, eh? Looks interesting enough, I guess. Though it doesn’t say who the developer is…
Zenkai official site is up, plus a promo vid.
??? ZENKAI???

Definitely looks like some sort of wild mix between Sparking!/Raging Blast and Gundam Vs., in any case. I do like how you can have your partner help you out so that you can set them up for the Bomb/Projectiles.
In any case, more details at/around 2/4/11. Which is around the time of Winter World Hobby Fair, any way.
looks cool
Damn, not gonna lie that looks pretty interesting. The way teamwork can be set up is sweet. Goku pulling the death grip like he did vs Raditz only to teleport out at the last second is nice. Playing to win.
game itself looks neat, but those graphics are uglyyyy
Me being an avid hater of anything Spike-related when it comes to DBZ games, I would play the living HELL out of this.
I think it looks better than most of the DBZ garbage these days.
This game looks more fun than it has any right to be, I’ll keep a lookout but being a japan/arcade only thing I won’t take to much interest in it.
Wow. I actually like this.
I wouldn’t be but so worried. It’s DBZ. Bamco knows that’s money right there. If they were willing to “take a chance” with Super DBZ (in spite of the fact that the mainstream DBZ audience in the West were not likely going to play such a game), I see no reason for them to pass up this game for porting in about a year or so.
Yeah, I could understand that point. Would be pretty cool if it does, guess we will see.
its a shame what they’ve been doing with these DBZ games. There are a lot of mechanics going on to actually make a good fighting game.
Well, DBZ, like so many other brands (re: Gundam, etc.) is that brand that makes money. Pretty much any body who loves these familiar brands will be at least willing to give a new game a try, which is more than what can be said for a new IP.
I mean, I still say that SDBZ got a raw deal, simply because it was a poor “match-up”, considering the audience that makes up most DBZ Gamers. But it’s highly unlikely that such a project would have even got green-lit, if it wasn’t for the obvious license attached.
Yet another update, courtesy of Andriasang.
So another game that utilizes the System 357 board, eh? Should ideally make a PS3 port easy enough to make within a year or so.
On another note, given that it is the System 357, that only makes it look all the more apparent that this possibly is the Gundam Vs. team. After all, they would have definitely had experience working with the board and its network-related intricacies, plus likely already have a serviceable engine that could be adapted for a new game.
I think I’ll be keeping an eye on this one…
Gotta say, I’m really liking where this game is going.
