Dragon Ball FighterZ: Legendary Saiyans Edition

  1. AGohan gets to use that card twice before he runs out of assists.

  2. Broly’s move is so thoroughly armored I am unsure it would. It auto deflects weak projectiles, maybe even beams, so if it’s not deflected it’s getting armor’d. Once the armor frames come out that move is executing.

I lose out pretty often after I clash a normal with my opponent. I’m sure I’m trying to think about things too much in the moment instead of just mashing L right away.

But thinking about it, does anyone know if you can special or super cancel during a clash screen freeze?

In other ArcSys-games, clashes could be canceled from anything into anything; we’re talking dragon punches canceled into jabs. Unless the rules are drastically changed, I’d imagine that still applies.

I can’t get over that Broly makes that stock ‘Cartoon Car Skid and Crash’ sound in his intro. It’s so dumb

Has there been a consensus on what to call certain knockdown states? Are they called soft, hard, and true hard knockdowns… or are they called soft, slide, and hard knockdowns respectively?

so far i heard.

Knockdown.
Sliding Knockdown.
Hard Knockdown.

Forum is fucked up, I’ll tell you that. Finally gave up and created a new account.

@Rooflemonger You can tag after Broly’s qcf M and get a full combo. Armor through people’s ass, tag into 16 into that sweet combo ending in the delicious grab oki.

I was going with Soft, Hard (sliding), Untechable…

That seems reasonable (knockdown = soft knockdown as another way to say it I believe). It just seems weird that I hear people call slide based knockdowns “hard” knockdowns, when that’s not what I’d normally consider what defines one to be hard in the first place (wakeup with lacking recovery options compared to other knockdown situations). Has me a bit confused when transcribing their states in threads with notation info.

Sad day for Frieza players:

That really sucks for Frieza but makes sense.

Well. I never saw it before so i dont know why it was never used. Or maybe it was and i missed it.

But 16 got a very MEAN blockstring when you use a beam assist/one that doesnt push the blocking opp far (like cell or vegeta).
[…]5H214L jL depending on the timing of the jL press 16 will be on one side or the other and, well i’m not a pro but i dont think i’m that scrubby either. And it seem ambiguous as fuck.

Couldn’t watch NLBC DBFZ last night cause they brought it on too late. For some reason Twitch is being ass right now and I can’t watch the matches in full so I have to turn to catching some of it on youtube for now. Apparently Rico Suave played last night and brought Broly. Mostly got wrecked but still good to see more people trying to join in on this game.

who the fuck is rooflemonger

but i will steal your tech sir!!!

That is some stupid shit.

The rule is the same, you can clash with a super move and cancel into a normal.

Bardock j.214H clash easily vs super dash ie.

Didn’t see it mention here but there’s a discord channel with a bot set up to grab tweets based on character hashtags.

Ffff-
Why they gave his 2H projectile properties is beyond me.

I wonder if Beerus 5H also has a projectile hitbox

Your name didn’t show up, so I assumed you got fucked by the migration.
