Damn, gotta hate that feeling when you find some cool shit labbing it up but then realise it does less damage then just launching with 2C and doing magic series instead.

I ended up removing connection quality restrictions and I found games, but they were all 0/1 bars. Either nobody in EU is doing matchmaking or it has to do with the fact I played very few matches and I’m searching for “same level”. I’ll try to go into arena matches until I get the green square at least.

Nah it’s not the squares coz I’m an orange square and I’m getting the same thing, been the same since day 1.
If i want any matches i gotta search for “anything goes” which ranges from 4f to 19f that’s a total lie and it’s like 300f delay.

Is blocking disabled for a brief period after you jump? I just got hit by a super dash while mid jump twice in a row.

You cant block in prejump frames just like mvci. It’s to prevent chicken blocking i guess. It’s kind of annoying if you came from mvc2/3 but makes sense in this game as there are no 8 way dashers

Mr Satan and Master Roshi are my only wishlisted DLC characters, but Kefla, Launch, and Jiren (even tho some theorize this game takes place before DB Super) I think are all more deserving or would just bring more to the table than a solo A17, Zamasu, or another Goku/Vegeta.

I will never understand this mentality. ArcSys already said there were no GAG characters for this game. Look at the track record of their Dragon Ball games, is there any playable gag characters in the Supersonic Warriors series or Extreme Butoden? Nope. Why would this be any different?

Also, they’ve said the setting takes place after the Goku Black arc (plus interactions with Goku and Freeza in the story mode confirm the setting is at least after Resurrection F).

you cannot deflect that at all. you can escape it with a guard cancel but that can be easily snuffed out and essentially the point of that block string

you can actually react to this and just use a cr h and stuff the incoming super dash

This isn’t a terribly assist heavy game anyways. They’re nice, but the cooldowns mean that they’re a sometimes tool, compared to Marvel where the downtime is something like 3 seconds.

Beam assist is pretty important in neutral for a lot of characters here.

Save for 21st World Martial Arts Tournament arc, King Piccolo arc, DBZ Movie 2, and the ToP arcs, the majority of the franchise that is exactly how he was treated: the comic relief for “lol pervert” moments. You can’t say I’m wrong these instances.
