You can press L2 for a shortcut. Basically brings up a menu for You to choose from.

Is there a way to register for matches during training mode or even to switch teams?

Question. How useful are Vanishing Attacks for combo extenders? I’m not really seeing a wow-factor for the use atm… but maybe it’s because I could never fully utilize it properly.

I noticed that some of the optimal meterless/1 bar bnb stuff isn’t really the greatest either (obviously)… you could do (jM-jL-jL) instead of (jL-jM-jL). Guessing it doesn’t work on some opponents.

Vanish helps you combo into Dragon Rush which lets you snapback characters.

Thanks! That seems useful. Probably my first day to train so trying to actually put stuff in practice now.

I dunno why the tutorial combos don’t teach you about mid combo jump cancelling and using autocombos to gain more height.
Shit would’ve been a lot less painful for me the past days if that shit was in the game.

@AceKombat

Vanish is also very usefull for Nappa and others that cant get good mileage of catching someone in the air without it. (And i’m not sure but Picolo got some nasty setups with it, vanish into S grab).

How does one go about doing that non-DHC where you tag Hyper into other characters, but don’t actively use one with your point character?

part 2 as with most characters another day… Wanted to do more ghost stuff but too sick today to play really.

Also thanks to all the people that still dislike my posts even after the full version of the game is out and I was right about everything. I know it really must piss you off that im a god compared to you

I think its qcf assist

Okay… so for the most part, it’s fine to avoid it in some strings.

Going to upload some Goku Black BnB stuff soon.

hcf or hcb during your point’s combo

people say qcb or qcf but I can’t get it to work without half circles.

It’s definitely half circle. 41236A1/A2 to call their lv1 and 63214A1/A2 to call their lv3

I noticed something in a Sonicfox replay. In two matches the opponent was using sparkle on their last character. Sonicfox used a level 3 with Android 16 and Gouku Black. With the 16 level 3 the opponent was recovering blue health during the animation. During the Black animation the opponent was not recovering blue health.

From 6.20 to 6.40 and from 12.25 to the end

yeah yall are right, but immediately following a HKD state you can just do qcf assist, I had no idea you could super with an assist mid combo though. No reason to not do half circles

So my team is either

Trunks/Black/SSJ Vegeta

or I’m gonna find a new anchor/battery and use SSGSS Vegeta/Black/???

Blue Vegeta’s combos are so cool I wanna use him

I wish people would stop using 5M/2M as a starter in their combos and claiming they’re legit 5 - 7k damage when in reality your combo starters most of the time will be 5L, 2LL, 2H, J.M, J.H, Overhead+assist, Overhead into 5L.

Sure, because all of the ones you listed (L starters, H starters) are the best way to ā€œstartā€ out a normal in neutral. Reality combo starters must apparently not consider dash 2M or 5M (especially if they are considered good pokes [ex: Kid Buu 2M]).

Reality…

I think we need a bit of:
