All I’ll say is there’ll be a team that has Hit and #18 on it.
Anyone hoping for different costumes/skins? I like Tien’s look in DBZ more then Super.
Due to the way they render the characters, it makes adding costumes unfeasible. Best we’ll be getting is the alt costumes on the chibi avatars in the hub
I hear it requires a lot of resource just to get all the cel shading done for this game, so it doesn’t leave much room to create alternates.
That’s pretty much the Storm/Sent/Commando or Mag/Doom/Dante of this game. I can see anybody from Marvel going to that as a go to. Just have to learn how to call assists differently since the cooldown times are huge in this game. Luckily you can call one during the other so likely can create situations where you can have the assists timed so that they can cover each other’s cool down.
Kind of wish they added the “over 9000” scene as a dramatic entrance.

At the moment I like Adult Gohan/Black/Blugueta
Tbh I’m not that experience with team base games like marvel as I never got serious about them so my knowledge on assembling teams is none.
Probably gonna do training and try different teams first.
I also like Freeza and Kid Buu.
Cell or Goku Black would probably be your point character. Both of them are so well rounded I’d be shocked to not see them regularly in tournament finals
Cell’s meterless damage is super good as well, especially with assists.
Actually, that’s something I wanted to bring up. Cell’s also the dude who I see spend the most on EX Moves. What are all the really really really good EX moves so far? Between Supers and Teleports, they kinda get shunted to the background. The only one I really see being used a lot is Cell’s back breaker.
Even doing this, which I tried during the beta, you’ll still be waiting a while for that first assist to recover.
As for characters, I’m definitely going to check out Tien, since I’ve seen so little of him, I’d like to explore the char myself.
Piccolo/Teen Gohan/Trunks will be the default. As long as Trunks’ assist stuffs Super Dash, then he can hold it down at anchor position.
Also wanna try Fat Buu (has a standing overhead he can combo off of) and I’ll use some Adult Gohan since I rocked him in the beta, and even though he has the worst DHC, he’s fun as hell on point.
My team at the start will be Adult Gohan as Anchor/Mid Man, 21 as point and and 18 somewhere around there.
Replace Adult Gohan or 18 with Goku Black if I REALLY need a beam assist. But I’ll be testing out alot of characters to really see where my footing stands but 18 and 21 will always be part of the squad…

I’m not saying they’re right, but it’s a lot easier for someone to just do the stuff and take credit, regardless of whether or not they found it by themselves or copied it from here.
Just work more on your PR. It’d be nice if you made an extended combo video when the game drops and sent that to Eventhubs.
Once the common players see it, they’ll recognize you as the combo maker and credit you even if some other people try to steal your tech.
My top priority are Android 21, Android 18, Perfect Cell, and Hit. Lab hard as hell, find out who works with who as well as who else would benefit them and create the cheapest shit I can think of. No fun allowed here. I’ll probably end up building my team similar to a MvC2 team since I don’t like it when you can play the game. I ran Android|Cell|Vegeta during the beta, I think I’ll still run this team as a pocket.
First thing I want to do Friday morning is find out if assist will auto correct after using Android 21’s absorption. I really hate that it throws the enemy in the opposite direction, basically making it unusable in the corner, so I wanna to figure out a way to get them back into the corner. I’d like to attempt this without burning meter (meaning no vanish), I know she gets a teleport from Alien race characters and that should work easily with someone like Vegeta (if the damn assist auto corrects). But… If vanish ends up being the only option then so be it. Fuck.
dude do you really think this is the only time people ever steal any thing of mine? People have uploaded my videos before under there accounts. The only reason im particularly rubbing the dbfz in everyones faces is because , my youtube actually got demonetized from it, for something that people here have been giving me a hard time about acting like I was bullshitting for 6 months now. To the point of my posts with actual tech and not wanting 6 buus on the roster got so man dislikes people cant even see it. Its weird.
Already talked about this eventhubs does not want to post my videos 99% of the time. They refuse to. Before @d3v has been nice enough to post my videos more regularly now a days. In general even SRK refused to post my videos a lot of the time. Tried to say they were fake, i used programmable controllers, then if they were real well they aren’t high quality enough etc. So ya popularity contest a lot of my views that I even have on videos come from the japanese back in the day. Hell I could probably go through my messages and I remember once a video of mine got posted on SRK and i got some message saying I should feel lucky they decided to post my video and not to bite the hand that feeds me. As if I need to dick suck some mod here to get a video posted helping the community and showing stuff that is fun in a video game. ya right.

Well I already have most the videos planned and ready to go, and even have some of the cell stuff on tape already. Its just a matter of doing the combos for all the characters and making sure some of the bugs, quirks still work. Other than that health with standing and doctor stuff they should all be out pretty soon.

Cell’s is simply the most common one coz it brings them back to the ground and has a huge window to call assists for combo extentions, plus Tatsu and the other early players were using it a lot.
Almost every EX is super good.
He needs to spend EX to do those assist combos I’m pretty sure… Otherwise his damage is standard
