I didn’t get a ton of play time but I’m really pleasantly surprised by Kid Buu. He’s so fucking fun to play and seemed very powerful, both on point and as a support with that amazing lockdown assist and his great DHC lvl 1.
The beta will be back tonight (the 17th) at 9PM PST.
I’m glad they’re going to have another day of the beta.
This time around, I think I’ll go back to just watching others. I definitely wanna play more, but the game will be here next week. I can wait. By then, I’ll be able to lab it up, which is what I’m looking forward to the most.

Cell is not a straight beam, but it’ll probably reach.
Tenshinhan has dodonpa (straight beam)
SSB Vegeta has Big Bang attack (not a beam, but it will work, I think)
Goku Black has a beam
I see arcsys is taking a page out of the capcom book of “How to make a shit roster so that people will buy your overpriced DLC”.
How many of ya’ll are getting this on PS4? Xbox One?
While I don’t forcing people to buy a lot of DLC, the base roster is pretty good.
Something about hitting people with Vegeta’s flying knee is just sooooo satisfying lol. Especially if they’re super dash happy.
Hopefully there are some conversions possible outside of supers.
