There are a lot of devoted users here who’d love to see the place continue to exist, I’m sure a couple of the other mods share the same opinion.

I doubt it’ll stay running. You don’t make the announcement unless it’s going away guaranteed. In any other case, you’d have internal discussions about keeping it up.

To the person who disagreed with my previous post, the Cannons explicitly say that because there’s a growing number of people who are no longer competitive they do not see a reason for SRK forums to exist anymore. Like I’ve said before, SRK was CREATED to pit competitively-minded SF players together.

Been around a while but don’t post much. This is truly sad times.

On topic: anticipation for this game is keeping my interest in fighting games alive after I finally gave up on SFV. Maybe AE will work its way back into my rotation but right now I’m all about that dragonball. See you guys in the discord, I guess.
