Eh, I’d rather they stick in as many existing DB characters as possible, because who knows when another actual DB fighting game will be made.

21 looks better than most of the established cast though.

Holy shit Kid Buu’s projectile goo arm attack is insane. And it’s his assist, too! I think this character is gonna be good

Yeah, his arm ball/assist is crazy. His j.mk (apparently also his st.mk?) travels about half the screen and combos (I know what his air to air button is) and his sweep seems like it would catch a lot of people off guard too (where he kicks through the ground).

guess that confirms then no flying squirrel. Hella lame, how are you gonna forget one of his signature attacks? Lame excuse just to save it for the inevitable update in a year. Really disappointing…

As for ball fireball, its neat, but inevitably as well, for a attack that hits THAT long is actually a weakness if it counts as a regular fireball as theres no reason to assume if the properties of the game stay the same that you would just mash deflect durning block stun to become invincible to everything. So unless its for a actual combo, it might be pretty meh. Guess will see what it counts as potentially in this beta if hes in.

And sure why not, its a signature attack thing it should be in the game. Why wouldnt someone want a character to do fun things they are known for? I hope its at least in some kinda way like he does the animation while doing a back dash in the air or a air dash. But if its not in thats disappointing.

What excites me is, strange as it may seem, how little air moves seem to really matter. In Marvel they dominated so much with box dashing, triangle dashing, divekicks, tether travel, and keepaway. Made someone like Iron Fist who was entirely ground based entirely pointless.

In FighterZ the air is just where combos go. The ground seems to be the core focus of uniqueness (Kid Buu aside), where all the specials happen, where all the mixups happen, etc.

Time will tell of course, but as is, I approve
