Nah itās just a touch for the 2nd Broly movie in which Gohan didnāt gain the Ultimate Powerup yet.
Also, Gohanās Ultimate Form specifically cannot use Super Saiyan anymore because itās technically him at maximum power at all times(although Super DID turn it into basically another power up by Gohan literally being able to just transform back into the form again after some tough training with Piccoloā¦although itās a form that makes him equal to ToP SSB Goku and Gohan stated heās looking for another way to get even stronger without going the Super Saiyan route soā¦)
IIRC Elder Kai said to Gohan that he ādidnāt need to go SSJā rather than that he canāt. I donāt see why he wouldnāt be able to overclock himself if he had to.
Few thoughts gameplay wise from watching these videos posted here and others posted on youtube recently
-one guy was playing in training mode with the hit stun on and he did a dynamic, holy crap they stun is basically till you dont hit the ground, so ya, this should not be hard time to all. Weve seen as long as you can hit the ground you you can store your stun from smashes. So more proof even in a later version of the game, although they took away the super loop I talked should work. The other loops should still all work.
-Dynamics like I said build dragon balls regardless it does not wait till the end of the combo to give you one. Theres a guy that builds multiple in one of the video. So Again even in this later version of the game what I said still holds true. Auto combos are extremely powerful, and potentially the best combos in the game. You can only dynamic from auto combos. And there was a guy that built multiple DBs in one combo. Soā¦ Go back months ago to the loop I posted with dynamics that should be possible. Welp there you go, potential automatic shenron in one combo simple. Only thing thats changed is you dont build infinite meter now from it. Thats the only tone down that has ever been shown from what I talked about. Could it change in the final version of the game? Ya it could but to bitchs out there at least from these videos looks like I was right again. I know it hurts ya
-There was a video of a OTG with normals. I said this worked before, but sadly people just werent going for it. well there was deff a video posted recently where it happens. Its quick, but its there. I wonder if its character specific it happens so rarely. Or maybe you gotta be in sparking to do it. And no I am not talking about the regular if you hit a sparking burst and the guy bounces otg obviously that works easily.
-All of beerus fireballs you can fly through. Comparatively speaking unless it changes that seems potentially pretty damn bad. Even his move where he spreads his arms out and shoots fireballs all over the screen. Not just the venom balls. Assuming you have a trigger finger or fast reflexes, any time you see him do that move specifically theres no reason to believe you can punish him every single time for even trying the move. I guess thats the nature of the beast, cant have it be a beam because then you couldnt do anything perhaps and it might be OP. But man now that might just be bad period vs someone with good reaction.
-family kamehameha in the video i saw looks pretty meh actually. Maybe it gets better when he has his power unlocked. But video I saw level 3 super, kinda fun the family comes outā¦ but only 70 hits? And just basically a expanded regular looking fireball. No unique real beam. Kinda let down on thatā¦ but maybe it has the potential to look betterā¦
-Character select screen does look awkwardly set up. From the looks of it, it kinda seems to show we are going to get 3 more characters actually next month, then I would assume the final 8 spots are the DLC. Not complaining of course. Seems weird if the game is supposed to follow a story as ending on goku black doesnt make any sense. So I guess maybe we will get android girl, merged zamasu and vegito.
-gohans power up in the video posted seems to work differently than what was posted about on the japanese websites and it does not overwrite the last one and must be done multiple times to get the full oneā¦ unless he hasā¦ multiple versions of the move?
-you can still what i said earlier hit a dash, do not air combo wait to land then start a combo again, so there is no reason to follow it up immeditely the stun is enough off one to add a extra ground combo before you decide to jump
70 hits is irrelevant. Dynamics automatically give you a free random dragon ball. So the idea is you just auto combo to dynamic over and over again. The only trick is giving yourself enough time to get back to the ground and or store the dynamic property. We have seen countless videos over and over again that you can store smashes, and we have seen so if you can also store dynamics, well there you go. Theres also many other tricks and work arounds that we could use even if it resets when you hit the ground actually as we have seen there are more than just one way to store a property if you will. But that is the basic idea, and untill its proven not to work, its plausible to me.
Old Kaioshin basically told Gohan to ādo what you do to become Super Saiyanā when Gohan asks him how to bring out his Ultimate power. When Dende healed Gohan during his fight with Gotenks Book, Boo said he gained no power from being healed and that he was at his limit. I think if Gohan wouldāve changed into a Super Saiyan if he could in that situation. Dude was getting embarrassed.
In Super, Gohan turned when he attacked Beerus, and later turned Super Saiyan for the ritual. During the ROF, Gohan lost the Ultimate form because he stopped training and noticed this when he was fighting Ginyu. Thatās why he had to resort to Super Saiyan to fight him. He regained the form during his training with Piccolo
When looking at Z, it was just meant to be a permanent transformation.
Theres no reason to believe you ever had to do different combos to get the dragon balls. This was false from the get go. And nonsense trying to trick people. If you watched it actually happen you could see. I said from the very beginning that this is how it was going to work its pretty obvious. The only question is if they end up taking it away in the final version of the game. Or if for some reason they make dynamics not be a stored property like smashes. But everything that has been shown so far would lead us to believe this is not the case. And like I said even if the game doesnt allow you to store dynamics, theres still other work arounds that we have see are possible. As in easy example we land, for some reason we didnt store a dynamic, well we still have never seen proof that a auto combo smash ever does not have a screen freeze or a cinematic. Everything so far has shown us that even after smashes no longer caused a cinematic, multiple auto combo smashes ALWAYS have to cause a cinematic. So we land after dynamic and we do a auto combo then to dynamic. The caveat here is realistically and this is what I said as soon as trunks in july was announced I posted this combo, only trunks could probably realistically do this, as his auto combo switchs him to the other side. Thus the opponent always lands back in the corner for a dynamic to bounce off the wall again allowing you loop it.
So in that case then only someone like trunks could probably theoretically build a shenron in one combo stand alone. But that doesnt mean other characters couldnt still build 4 or something with assists if you get what im saying.
Anyway things could change, there could be other aspects to work out, but theres lots of work arounds so will see.
Anyway, Iām pretty sure he wasnāt in his Ultimate form when launching the Family Kamehameha. Maybe he has a variation of it when he activates his install super.
If Gohan seriously dropped Mystic in combat just to not make his dad and little brother feel bad during the Team Kamehameha, thatās just silly, lol.
So Iāve been talking to Tatsunical about this game, being heās a former SFxT head from the old IRC and has a) played the game at a high level and b) played the beta to further get a better feel of what he played. I asked him about the execution in the game and he said that there are manual combos that can pulled off for decent damage but that autocombos will still have a place in high level play as a quick confirm into anywhere from 30%-60% off of one bar just confirming a single button press with no links involved is too good to just write off entirely. There are also some assists that contribute to combos more than initially thought, but I donāt know if he just was thinking about Vegetaās or if he had pulled off others.
Iāll ask him more questions later. For now itās great to catch up with him and the old SFxT crew has been buzzing about this game a lot since the last trailer came out.
