That’s better.
Buu and Frieza look the most unique of the 6 currently regarding gameplay but also their little oddities in the attacks and the way they move.
If i can make a whole Android team (16 or 20(Gero) with 17 and 18)that would be great. Last time i was this excited for a FG was during the announcement of SFV…until i played the Beta of that game.
I think ASW will push for variety with its roster, including even Tien and Master Roshi, which both have a lot of unique abilities. Limiting clones as much as possible…hopefully.
Phantom_Angel: Froztey: Phantom_Angel: MOB712:LSSJ is Broly.
Like it or not that is quintessential Broly.
All the moves we know from him derive from his LSSJ form, and it would give the game a big body grappler
We’ll probably only see any other version of Broly in his intro like they did with Gohan
Broly has 3 other forms. Even more if you count the DB Heroes stuff. There is absolutely no reason to always restrict him to his LSSJ form.
None of his moves are LSSJ specific either.
Nobody cares about Broly if he isn’t LSSJ.
Broly in standard SSJ didn’t even fight, there’s nothing to derive his moveset from. I always hated that about the old DBZ games, they had to brainstorm shitty concept attacks in base character forms or turn a LSSJ regular special move into an ultimate attack because they had no material to work with.
Broly IS the LSSJ, his other forms are whack. His entire character concept is him being the LSSJ, you don’t identify Broly any other way.
He fought quite a bit in that form during The Second Coming. His moves are the same minus a couple wrestling additions. He’s the same character, just less bulky. If you can’t think of how they’d design him around SSJ and LSSJ, you either don’t play enough fighters or watch enough DB. Here, let me brainstorm for you:
(Assuming he starts in base or SSJ)
[] Quick, hard-hitting w/ a few zoning tools (Blaster Shell, Ki blast traps that explode on contact)
[] LSSJ transformation similar to Golden Freeza, moves change to be more grapple-heavy, gains access to command grabs/hyper armor/Gigantic Press/Lariat

Two different supers/ultimates/whatever, one in SSJ and another in LSSJ
They don’t even have to go that deep. Allowing him to go from his SSJ form to his LSSJ form is good enough.
@locoghoul @“po pimpus”, why are these niggas trying to tell ME about Broly?
Nobody in their right mind would rather play as standard SSJ Broly over the LSSJ Broly. This game doesn’t appear to have traditional transformations but rather installs, and I’m not having the LSSJ form be an install that’s just stupid.
I can think of how they’d design him, but it would 100% be better just to make him start at LSSJ without it being an install, you’re crazy if you think otherwise.
I must be a damn psychopath then.
You’re making a lot of assumptions based on your own personal preference, tho.
If the control scheme is punch, kick, ki blast, dust (haven’t seen anything that says otherwise) then i doubt there is gonna be much space control from normals. Do they expect ki blasts to fill that role?

official gameplay from bandai namcoDid anybody notice that Sorbet assist at 2:30-2:35?
yes I don’t know what that is.
Also so far in the 6 characters, I think only Frieza actually has an install where it last for a while and he actually gets tired at the end (like Sol from GG). Goku’s seems to be really just his super lvl 3, everytime he transforms he does the same animation into kamehameha.

My personal preference is the large majority of the fanbase. Diehard Broly fans can enjoy the depthless character all they like, but most people come for his LSSJ form, and that’s about it. Standard SSJ Broly is forgettable.
Maybe the ‘dust’ is just a generic heavy that can be associated with punches or kicks. I think i saw cell do his bison slide outside of the generic combo at least. Maybe command in there too

Heh, that’s a nice touch.
Their attention to detail is apparent and we’ve only seen short gameplay footage. Cannot wait to see what other little tidbits they add to really add to the fights.
My favourite has got to be Frieza’s discs coming back around to hit him.
Getting a real arcana heart homing vibe with those dashes
I haven’t watched DBZ since like middle school but this shit looks hype af. Interesting that you don’t get any incoming mixup opportunity after ko’ing a character.
At 2:44 in gameplay footage 1 from nico thing, Cell vs Gohan. Cell throws a fireball on the ground and it breaks the tile the fireball hit. I thought it was dope.

Waited for nearly 2 decades… This is all I ever wanted… A proper 2(,5)d DB game… done by amazing ArcSystems… Just awesome
Instant buy… It looks freaking awesome… Frieza and me will play the shit out of you all
Interesting that you don’t get any incoming mixup opportunity after ko’ing a character.

I was referring to the game being more of a traditional fighting game which the majority of DBZ fans (the ones who prefer the Tenkaichi/Xenoverse style) don’t like.
Xenoverse boys unbelievably heated
Xenoverse boys unbelievably heated
Do not care… Most likely they can’t play this style of games.
And what’s their problem? I have no doubts Xenoverse 3 will be out for them sooner or later as well. The sales are too big to not be done.
This game is most likely target at people like us after all… Same as Xenoverse is nothing for me
