Yeah legit to me too, I think we’re going to see a lot of DLC for this game, costumes included.
And at the rate they are revealing characters, 34 seems about right ?
The leak mentions costumes. Shit’s fake
Remember friends, Bamco’s funding this project. There’s also more staff on board.
The SSJ Blue should have gotten the RoF costumes for Vegeta and especially Goku. It was nice seeing them in something different but based on their classic looks. Not gonna lie, RoF Goku looks the best IMO. Those forearm guards, no under shirt, and superior boots look nice. It would be even better if they got those training gloves from when they were in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

I don’t get the ASW can’t do costumes meme. Just because they designed characters a specific way in Xrd, doesn’t mean they can’t learn from it, and make them more modular from the ground up in subsequent games.
The more unbelievable part of that rumour to me is the roster size, but DBFZ don’t seem to have nearly as many animations/moves per character (compared to GG), so who knows. Number could also include DLC.

You guys are both missing the point. They reused assets on these characters to produce them with much less resources. This means it wouldn’t have been possible to make another character in their place, because the brunt of work in the characters in likely the modeling. Giving them a different costume would have invalidated this advantage completely and made them eat up resources that are being used for other characters.
It’s not that Arcsys can’t do costumes, it’s that it takes almost as much work to do as a new character and they would rather have more characters.

Off topic but why does everyone consider Krillin to be the strongest earthling? I mean, is there a fact to back up that claim? From what i remember, Tenshinhan was a lot stronger than him during the saiyan saga.
I rolled my eyes seeing all of this praise about the game having “over 10 stages” in the latest announcement.
Also, DBFZ seems to be playing it safe for the most part with the roster. Give me some left-field picks like Hatchiyack and Jaco!
It’s not about the way they design characters. It’s not about the money. It’s not about the staff numbers. It’s about the way the characters are created - all the hand drawn stuff, the shading, etc, it all has to be perfect, not just for the model itself but for every animation and interaction, the lighting, the special effects. That’s why it takes a shitton of time and is comparable to just making a new character in the same timeframe. Elphelt having an Xrd alt is an exception to the rule and I would not expect it to be different for DBZF, no matter how much dollars Namco pours into the game

Krillin got his potential on Namek which raised his power level many times over while Tien pretty much stagnated after the Saiyan Saga and he wasn’t that stronger even then. Yamcha and Toriyama himself even stated Krillin is the strongest human.
Krillin’s showings in Super have also been a lot more impressive than Tien’s.
Tien and Yamcha trained with King Kai and deal with the Ginyu Force without too many problems, plus Tien held his own against Super Imperfect Cell.
I feel bad for Tien, because it’s not like he slacked off on his training: he was MIA between Cell and Buu Saga because he was doing nothing but training, and he still couldn’t come anywhere close to closing the gap.
Leaks looks suspicious as fuck to me. So roster has gone from small to… 34 characters now? Im sure it will get there at some point… but the very first version? Also the costume thing is bizarre because look at GG, there hasnt been a single new costume since XRD came out what, 4 years ago or something? Something about it being to hard to do with hit boxes/animations etc I believe was the excuse as the way they do 3d is not like other games. Also waifus… rolls eyes just imagine no one is getting the real broly, you all are getting the fake ones.

Few things.
According to the guy who made the DBFZ info stream a few days ago, the only ways you can tag in a combo is either auto combo or off of vanish (not counting DHCs). Secondly, it’s the greyed icons that prevent you from doing multiple assists/tags. You can see it several times where Gohan was doing combos and some of his characters were greyed out until he finished said combos. The X I can only assume means that you can’t do anything with your characters at all during that time, even if they are perfectly ready and available to do whatever.
That doesnt make sense because theres been multiple videos of people just doing random attacks, air combos, specials, then tagging in a partner and continuing a combo. Ive only seen it Xed out if they had just recently called as a assist, switched out, or tagged in as a super. I mean what video are you taking about because only video ive seen it grey out is when they did assists, already recently tagged, or did a super in the combo, which… makes sense because we already know there is a cool down time as with all games.
Maybe if theres some videos where randomly a character got xed out for no reason while doing a combo something else was at play, but theres been tons of videos showing this so I dunno, maybe some random obscurity or random things reset properties as well. All GG games have had to vary extents similar bugs across the board of being able to store properties of attacks, hit boxs, hurt boxes. And many things as simple as jumping reset them or get them into play. Some of the combo videos and glitch videos ive done for the games through out the series some just are as simple as having one person had to have jumped before the combo, or had to have air dashed after doing a certain move. Had to have been hit by one hit of a certain move, but missed the other, then a combo is now possible that is not normally possible in the match etc.

I don’t believe the leaks. For so long no one even knew about the game and now they just so happen to start leaking information. I’ll just wait for more character reveals.

Costumes don’t come out for GG because, like it or not, nobody plays that game so the potential amount of money they’d make is weak. And they are not rich in the first place.
Yeah they have heavy technical limitations but if it made them a lot of money they would do it.
DBFZ and Bamco is something else.
Because Toriyama said Krillins the strongest human
That simple.

The online party mode is so fucking sick
I can play with my friends without them getting pissed off at me, I can just anchor for them and it’ll be sweeeet

Sorry I don’t follow DB Super, but I thought the Time Chamber was destroyed in the Buu saga? Don’t remember it being restored (but it has been a while since I watched Z)
The door was destroyed in the Boo saga, but they escaped out of a dimensional hole. Dende fixed the doorway sometime between that point and Super, making the room more effective (you can spend unlimited time training in there now) than before.
It gets destroyed and rebuilt all the time now

I’d rather have 17 or broly , just feels a wasted slot or opportunity
But thinking about what the average dbz fan wants

You know this how?
They are making pallet swaps because they cannot afford to make new characters?
That don’t sound right
