I noticed the last combo where he tagged in freiza mid combo put an X on the other two characters. That’s probably to prevent constant tag ins.

actually if you watch the X goes away before the combo is even finished so theres no way that is long enough to stop you from doing multiple tags at all. I mean even goku comes out at the end so i dont see how that wasnt obvious lol

That would be pretty rad but to be fair the story mode of the Xenoverse games were basically the greatest hits of DBZ with what if scenarios thrown in. There’s also a bunch of single player modes in past games where they showcase the biggest moments of the series. It makes sense that they would want to try something different.

Since this game is influenced by Marvel vs. Capcom, will it have triple and wall jumps?

List of possible characters that could have it:

-Tien (wall jump)
-Pan (triple jumps)
-Gotenks (triple jumps)
-Pikkon (both)

Few things.

According to the guy who made the DBFZ info stream a few days ago, the only ways you can tag in a combo is either auto combo or off of vanish (not counting DHCs). Secondly, it’s the greyed icons that prevent you from doing multiple assists/tags. You can see it several times where Gohan was doing combos and some of his characters were greyed out until he finished said combos. The X I can only assume means that you can’t do anything with your characters at all during that time, even if they are perfectly ready and available to do whatever.
