Shouldn’t everyone be happy that we even have a seed or even the bittorent to download than complaining about the speed of the seed/download? Geez. Just give it time, but not as long as it took for them to finally release the damn thing, lol.
No, sorry. Many of us donated (read: paid) for the download, so I think we are justified in expecting to recieve the actual dvd in its entirety. I certainly understand SRK staff being upset that relatively few people actually donated, but that doesn’t seem like justification for: delaying the release for over a month, an apparent lack of dedication to properly seeding the torrent through superseeding, or setting up some initial direct downloads for other’s to help seed with when several people even offered up the free hosting.
I love the SF community but because of my work, family, location and several other circumstances the only way I really get to be involved is through tournament footage. My apologies for missing EVO2005 in the first place, and the rest of the other majors for that matter, but I’m perfectly willing to accept footage as a replacement.

Bah… this was a waste of time from the beginning. I’m going to look for a host even if I need to use You Tube and get this top 8 footage posted in probably within the week. This kind of wait time is flat out ridiculous.
There’s only what, 13% left? why even start the threats so close to the end, i sent word that the dl stopped, whoever’s seeding the dvd will start again for the last however long it takes, then noone ever has to hear or worry about it again for the rest of our lives.
In the meantime if you just want to watch them on pc, vlc player should be able to play a lot of what you have even though it’s incomplete.
Actually people where making threats before it came out…When people started making threats is when the dvd was finally released…
wow jeez, it’s only 13 more percent left. i know it’s been a bitch about seeding the MvC2 vidz, but eventually it’ll come out sooner or later. like FMj said, u can watch most of it NOW!
Can you also send word to the seeder requesting him to super-seed instead of seeding regularly.
Superseeding was done with the evo 2k5 GGXX dvds and people were getting the entire dvd in 2 days. By doing normal seeding, it’s been like… a month and still people haven’t gotten the whole thing yet.
I think that can be attributed more to the speed of the seed and the fact that it’s on again off again for whatever reason. IIRC the GGXX seed was actually distroed to a 2nd server before seeding that actually had real bw. I don’t know what happened to that or why it’s not used here.
Another 50 or so hrs of ‘actual’ seeding should do it, but superseed mode at this point may decrease it by 10-15 hrs, if it is used.
Well I suppose it’s time to download this.
Don’t worry, I’ll seed as often as I can, but 4 gigs is gonna take me a while.

And I tried watching it in VLC, but most of the matches stop within 20 seconds or so :sad:
you can watch it with windows media player, but there are lots of gaps and a few matches that won’t play at all

I’ve basically come to the conclusion that the dvd is not coming out.
good news… i’ve been stuck on 87.3 for days now… like everyone else…but i’m glad i’m almost there 
kinda speculation here… lame speculation at that… but the timing of this kinda leans towards the srk staff holding off on seeding this so ppl can’t break down duc’s spiral. not to be a conspiracy theorist … just kinda … lame.
