I’ve heard a strange rumor that Evo West is this weekend. If there isn’t something announced by then, it seems pretty reasonable for someone to check in with the Cannons to see what the current ETA4DVD is.
It does seem like they’ve already said they’re having problems with the tracker, though. shrug
I’m sorry but I gotta call bullshit because I just started downloading the 3rd disc just to see if there was a problem and i am downloading at 100+kbps right now with 0 problems. So the torrent excuse doesnt seem to be working IMO…
The only time they came out with any info is when people wanted you to host it, then they said “Hold your horses. I’ll start seeding tomorrow.” and have they? Nope, nothing since…
I wonder if someone could host the final 8 of mvc2 if they had it?? I wonder…
I believe Nagata Lock has the final 8 as well.
I just hate how they don’t let us know what’s going on. This “tracker” problem has been going on for the past 3 weeks. And we haven’t heard anything from them. Smells fishy to me.
I mean, if they can’t figure out how to fix this so called “tracker problem” in 3 weeks then maybe they’ve reached an impasse, and the problem is unsolvable. Since SRK can’t give the footage to us… they should at least let other people host their own footage.

They have a financial interest in the footage, so it wouldn’t make sense to let anyone else randomly host the footage.
I would still bet money ($5 anyone?) that we hear something somehow this weekend.
I downloaded and helped torrent the CvS2 and 3S discs for a while, but haven’t actually ever taken a look at what’s on them. I’ll take a look this weekend and try to see if I can guess what Evo footage of mine is not going to be on the DVD and thus is shareable. :sad:

There’s two threads in the Evo forum asking about it. The mods read the thread, however they don’t post any responses. The only time they responded was when we were pestering Preppy about hosting his own footage.

Make a random post somewhere complaining, make a few stupid(funny, but still) AVs, then spam the fuck out of the thread on FGD like Wiz and the Cannons come here? That doesn’t sound like you guys tried hard enough. Show me some proof that you did a little more than just what I listed off and I won’t trim the fat off this thread.
Mods don’t answer PMs. I don’t have their e-mails nor do I have their AIMs and I ain’t gonna spam them with IMs/emails/pms because if I do, I will get banned.
I spammed all sorts of threads asking them to pay attention to the MvC2 dvd thread. No use.
Preppy himself said that if he were a mod, he would have banned me a long time ago.
Anyhow, I believe that I’ve done as much as I can for now without getting banned. I’m gonna give em the weekend… though I don’t expect we’ll hear anything.
