As far as I can tell her normals don’t have a noticeable amount of extra start up frames, so if you can block a move on reaction mid or low in the few frames that it takes for the move to come out then you can probably do it against anyone.
The visual cue shouldn’t make a difference.
Double looks like she’s going to have to start her offensive game through footsies a lot since her air game looks pretty meh, thats more concerning to me then people learning to react in a split second to which character I’ve transmogrified into.

Anyone else think she’s not at her full potential by being solo? She doesn’t have much to create offense on her own and he lvl 1’s scream great dhc’s.
Reminds me of spirals metamorphosis hyper except that it hits the opponent into characters at different spots instead of staying still
Yeah I actually noticed is that too. Double looks like she needs a pinning/lockdown assist to get going since shes slow. But since her dash passes through people if she had a drone-like assist or something she would have great mixups.

Has anyone noticed that Double plays very much like 3S Oro? Almost all her moves are like Oros- exchange his command grab with the butt-slam; trade his uppercut for slide kick and the movesets are very similar. They have similarities in their movement (dash, double air jump, heavy in air) and their combos follow very similar patterns. For those complaining about double not having a distinguishable playstyle, check out Oro.
I thought she’d be better solo’d, or as an anchor.
Look folks, I’m just as excited as the rest of you for Double, I really am, but I find one thing lacking in her character.
Her name is “Double”, and she may not have a move where she checks her dubs.
I’d be outraged if this happened, and I know damn well you’d be too. I vote we see it as a taunt or a victory pose, so we know the dubs are well deserved.
