Double gets in pretty easy. Subzero slide can be cancelled into catellite on block, Dash is a great tool aswell. J.Fierce is unsafe as hell so I refrain from using that too much unless they really like to stay on the ground.

im liking the longer j.HK combos better; i’ve got 4.8k meterless right now from a LK and it builds almost a full bar.

for getting in…im just jumping like a scrub but if you air to air someone with j.MP you can hit j.HP into a bnb. ive had some success just getting a life lead and turtling with jump back HP, dash through people (this is annoying!), and the threat of random buttslam.

is catellite cancel completely safe? it might have been me pressing buttons but i think i remember being reversal’d after a slide + cancel

i don’t think it is safe, well i don’t know how good the slide block stun is but raw catellite can get punished
and yeah j.hk combos are fun stuff.

if you’re not facing a peacock there is no problem getting in, but you should realize you’re not filia or any of those fast chars that get in as soon as you blink.

Catellite is not completely safe.
Cere will 360 super you everytime.

the almost exact combo i do, cept if im in a corner i usually cr lk st. mk/mk st hk jump grab reset them. this character is amazing just dashing through shit while calling an assist and grabbing is beyond amazing.

Working on random modified combo for double based on what other people have been posting

st.lk,mk,hk j.hp(3hit), j.hk, (land), sj.mp (3 hit), j.hk (land) qcf+hp, dash, cr.mk, st.hk, j.lp,mp,hp(3hit) st.lp,mp,hk, j.mk xx fridge drop xx cats (dash) then go into combo of choice with catelites. before the cats it does 4558 1v1

Works on most everyone, but for some of the lighter ones you need to start the loop with Full j.LK > j.HK

Not really optimized and definitely could be improved upon.

Does anyone have any set Catelite combos? I haven’t really found a use for them as all I do is mash lp. and mp. and try throw them.

So I started playing online today, and I already got my first hatemail. Apparently, Double’s invincible and almost always safe Hornet Bomber assist can make people a lil mad. Who knew? :stuck_out_tongue:

Still, I feel like I need to actually learn the character. I never end up getting to her because my Valentine/Peacock backed by that assist always end up getting the job done. Does she have a practical anti-air, or should my anti jump-in strat just be go for an air-grab/dash out of the way?

is it possible to play double solo? cause somebody on a different forum said she’s one of the best solo characters although i find that hard to believe

Theory fighting here, does HK > j.MK > j.HP > LP/MP work? I’ve got an idea for a new combo path using a Parasoul assist.

You just had to go and jinx it. Peacock/Double-buttslam is neigh impenetrable

The more i play the less i like to end combos with the car and instead save for cat super to be able to get “free” buttslams and slides aswell as keeping pressure and mixups. The only time im using car right now is if it will kill a character.

It’s also good for punishing other supers. When you block the first string of Peacock’s super, you can avoid the rest of her chip damage.

If you mean a standing LP after the HP, then yes that would work, but the timing can be sketchy depending on the character.

This is where I’ve been heading as well. It just doesn’t seem worth it to end with a car unless it either kills or throws them back into the corner.

Hmm… I think I’ve got a concept for a corner loop down. I’ll have to test it to see if it’ll work, but if it does then she’s about to get a massive damage increase.

Her Car is really hurt by scaling so I usually save it for throws. Throw > HK Hornet > Car does 4200 damage.

i usually end a bnb in a grab reset or filia slide while saving for dinner time.
