IDK how you guys stand it. Every single game I’ve had last night, someone has left…or dc’d, or rage quit etc. And the skill levels are incredibly mismatched. It’s ridiculous…but meh, I’m hoping that it matters on my battle points, because the people I’m playing with are pure butt or incredibly more skilled than I…not to mention my queue times are like 8 mins +
Queue times for me are generally less than 3 minutes. People rage quit a lot but I just chalk it up to them being League players and Dota is melting their childish brains.
Granted the learning curve is incredibly steep.
My advice is to grind your way out of low level so when the game drops in August and everybody can get in you aren’t stuck in shit tier matchmaking.
In order for me to play a regular online match, i must finish the tutorials? I just DL’d dota 2 from an invite, but all i see is a dragonknight quest-tutorial menu. I want to go straight in-game and try undying out.
Damn sign me up for this guild.
I’ve lost like a 2% win rate over the past few days solo queuing due to bad teams… Need to start playing carry in pubs.
Imo the people who play LoL over Dota 2 are the same people that prefer Mortal Kombat over Street Fighter.
Filthy casual scum.
Just leaving that here.
TI3 has been amazing so far.
Really has the feel of a real sports event if you don’t mind the goofy stuff happening at times.
I’m totally rooting for TongFu, Banana should be voted the most badass support of this tournament, that guy makes highlight reel big plays in every single game he plays.
Also helps that I was a fan of his play in DotA even when he was playing with YaphetS, Zhou, Insence and DGC in Nirvana.cn years back when I got interested in competitive DotA.
No, League sucks because it’s anime; therefore it’s WRONG, and it sucks. DotA 2 isn’t anime, therefore it’s better.
Yeah, TI3 has been really, really good so far. It’s actually pretty nice to see less than common picks actually getting picked up (like even seeing Razor or Ursa). Hell we even saw a Zeus… although he got blown up really bad. Hero variety has been pretty solid so far though, and it’s great to see what kind of strategies were employed with uncommon picks.
