It was during the beta days. I thought that meme was pretty funny, given how it was created.
I still can’t believe EG did a roster shuffle even after Icefrog said they were looking for stable teams.
It’s gonna be weird indeed. It’d be a huge mistake not to invite CLG, but Loda said in an interview that Smulgulig cant commit to DotA2 professionally due to studies and may have Misery replace him. If Icefrog invites them shortly after they announce that it’ll make him look hypocritical and get some flame. I wouldn’t blame Icefrog though cuz the European and Chinese scenes are too much of a mess with its constant shuffling. With that being said I don’t think people should be worried if a team doesn’t get invited because nearly every team had instability issues in past 2-3 months.

Yes and EG will too. Their organizations are too big not to invite them. They might be invited close to last but they will be invited nonetheless. I really want to see Quantic get an invite too though to make it 3 NA teams. Quantic is probably the best NA team right now with coL closely trailing with EG kind of behind.
As for tomorrow’s patch: ugh. Treant is so boring.
Quantic, Ehome, M5, Zenith, CLG, Mith, DTS, Duskbin, Mouz and mTw seem to be the most reasonable choices left in my eyes. EG may have the name but they are unstable, inconsistent and unimpressive. Either way, I’d say there’s still a good month before teams can prove they’re worth inviting.
Nah Mouz doesn’t deserve the invite. They are unstable and a tier 2-3 team at the moment. I would invite Keita before mouz. Everyone else you mention: yes although I would probably swap out duskbin for Mineski. There is also a good chance LGD gets an invite. I think they are either the number 3 or 4 team in china right now.
I really hope M5 doesn’t get an invite. I’m not the biggest fan of PGG.
