Dormammu: Lord Of Chaos videos

Yeah, bolts is definitely one of the more fun extension assists, though it has much more limited use out of the corner. Sometimes when he’s cancelling st.S into Liberation 3Red, he can actually fH, flight, and j.S for the knockdown out of X-factor and with no wallbounce left, but you have to hit with the tippy top of fH.

But dayum, he’s done a lot of other things with bolts that I didn’t think of. That volcano combo that did 1.06 million was HOT, I couldn’t get past 1.01 for a meter, but I hadn’t tried starting with 3 charges.

Here are some simple combos I was playing around with. All solo Dorm no assist.

More evidence that Magneto/Dorm/Dante is da best, from GomuGomu:

Off an air throw in the corner at minimum air dash height, Dormammu can do 1,000,000 damage starting with 1 bar. Alternatively you can raw tag Dante and Volcano, j.M xx Air Play blah blah blah Clay Pigeon loops blah blah blah for ~840-850K after Million Dollars, then DHC into Chaotic Flame.

Can do it from any height btw. You can get two spells from a ground throw into 2D:0C or 1C:1D extension using the same set up. 2D:0C recommended because you get F+H xx Dark Hole and a clean DHC into Dante MD or Magneto Tempest.

That raw tag is pretty tight to land but the damage is crispy.

Edit: On and another thing. If you have one or more spells, you don’t have to use the wall bounce and that opens up the current strongest thing Dorm can do during that THC. You do the combo normally up until the first explosion release, the you Dark Matter xx Spell charge > THC. Then during the THC you build up 2D:1C, then st.S jump cancel into liberation and all of the fucking Rocks of the Volcano hit. Brings the damage up to 1070,000 with the option to force and chip situation if needed.

My version when labbing Dorm/Dante was to do the THC, launch into two charges, and I’ve been jumping forward, but I think your fH flight j.S is better, land, third charge, volcano that doesn’t hit with all the rocks, but gets a tag into Dante for volcano fH volcano super. Mostly for coolness’s sake, because scaling and all, Cosmicspiral reminded me of that on the youtubes, but million dollar will kill pretty much anything after that combo right there.

Also, love those pickups with disruptor, the charge before the pickup was super smart. I was trying some variation of my airthrow setup with Nemesis, but using magneto assist, st.MH before they fall while calling the assist into charge and then the fH second charge, but disruptor is new to me and way too fast for that.

All around, awesome stuff.

Yeah any additional use of meter with Dormammu after that point is death for everybody except Thor. But even then, if you get the full Volcano extension then he dies too. That Dante extension will won’t kill Hulk and Haggar but everybody else so I guess if you wanted him in for a particular matchup then it’s good to raw tag him in + the cool factor lol. Anyway that combo probably won’t even be necessary most of the time because the match flow usually has their second character in the corner incoming and having to block a Stalking Flare then a mixup, so the chip gives you some slack. I’m starting to think the best way to play this character is just to rape their characters on incoming and then fall back to your lame play if that fails.

I agree completely. My idea was just for swag/did-you-know kinda thing.

Dorm’s lame game is too great, and it also trains them to not block a crossup the longer you zone. I especially agree because I am using bolts, meaning I don’t have too much as far as get-off-me assists, but with any assist, them eating meteors and flares is kind-of a really good spot to be in.

New Dormammu combo video. Lemme know what you think. There’s also the Dorm/Dante THC Volcano-into-rawtag thingy there, may not do as much damage on Dante’s end, but the meterbuild is a lot better than I remember.

Seems like something I should have seen a while ago. Can anyone get some testing for this to see if we can get consistent set ups? I don’t have access to the game. I’m sure characters with air options can get out but if we can make something solid with this then it’s possible to get a kind of loop from it.


Because I don’t want to have to look for this later.

hey guys ive been wondering about mid screen combos with dorm missiles i cant seem to find anything beefy enough can anyone help

I have no idea what you mean but i play mag dorm doom

If you want something simple to your ground series and call Missiles while you launch, do your air series, land and the missiles should come down shortly after and OTG for you to do a quick relaunch.

Slighty more complicated would be the dark matter xx teleport combo into a launch with missiles into Dark Hole xx Chaotic Flame.

You can optimise all of that but that’s the idea.

I don’t think snap is the best idea after carpet unblockable, just go for the kill instead. Also, for the chip setup, can you get punished after CF if Phx does XFC? There might be a way to do your setup without using XF yourself so you can counter XFC, kinda like what Nemo did against Champ’s Phx team. Maybe lay a carpet before everything, so after the initial CF she drops into the carpet and is forced to block another CF.
