Leave it to Capcom to nerf an assist that was good but completely unused while keeping things like Hidden Missiles so good. -_-
Thanks for informing me.

Hey all. So, I recorded Dormammu combos with my team last week and slapped them up to youtube. Yay! It’s my first chance to use my capture card, so I’m happy it turned out okay. I’mma post it here, it’s mostly Lariat stuff and some bnbs. The stuff’s pretty simple because I really dislike making a bunch of combos that require missiles/drones/start with charges.
Part 1: Low meter usage and a bit of XF1

Part 2: Higher meter usage and a bit of XF1/3

Tell me what you think, peoples.
A quick vid with some good combo synergy on display between Mags/Dorm/Doom and Iron Fist/Dorm/Wolverine:

Nooooooooooooooooooo you missed the M!
Does anyone know where i can find the inputs or the dormamu flight combo?
The jump loop one or the dark hole one?

The dark hole one
Do whatever sequence you want to start, then launch j.HxFly,L,HxL Dark Hole, M, H, S
crL crH S xx super jump forward jH xx flight jL jH xx Dark Hole L (jL) (jM) jH jS
jL and jM are enclosed in parentheses because jH jS alone is very consistent. Add jL and/or jM if the character is big enough or if you are pretty confident all of them will connect. IDK if this will work from a Flame Carpet confirm, can someone test it?
NeoGAF is doing a Marvel tournament, and my first round opponent was kind enough to record our matches. So, for anyone who has ever wondered what my gameplay looks like, you can see it now. It’s a pretty embarrassing set, I make a huge number of mistakes in terms of judgment and execution, but I was nervous (even though nothing is at stake…).
Anyway, without further ado:

It’s not a great example of what the team is capable of, because I lose Dormammu in almost every single match due to a bad decision, but folks might like to see how it works conceptually. That happy birthday in game two made me shout “bullshit” at my TV, haha.
I’ve only been playing the team for two weeks, so my bnbs are still messy. That Morrigan drop where only the first Soul Drain hits has never happened before, though.

Here is my Dorm combo. 2 bars no assist corner only. If i would have hit the M at the end it combo would of broke 1m damage.

[/quote]Oh SHIT! Does that work on the whole cast? I had no idea you could get a double CF that easy in the corner.
At the right spacing and height you can connect a st.m after chaotic flame, if you do it early enough in a combo you can launch from it. I’ve just never seen that particular setup before. Cool stuff

never tried it on the midgets, an Vergil has a way of popping out of it if the timing isn’t tight, i find they guys who stand tall are the easiest to get it on. the main thing is to do the chaotic flame before a launch so you can get the m s afterwards. there’s a lot of different ways you can get the 2 chaotic flames, depending on spells charged etc.
I feel like dorm has a viable infinite hidden away somewhere. The whole point of the nullification trick is to be able to fly at minimum height. and the unfly attack without worrying about height. For some reason, dorm can’t do it so we still have to guess on airdash distances and timings of falling normals. It’s too hard.
They have to end chaotic flame’s hitstun in the st.m hitbox, which means they have to get hit by the chaotic flame at a certain height, I find that it’s near Dormammu’s neck, or wherever that would be, and if I catch them too low I mash, if I don’t catch them high I don’t mash, as it seems to alter the height at which they pop out.
For obvious reasons, it’s harder the smaller the hitbox is, and I have not tested on Tron or Shuma who are perpetual exceptions to Dormammu combos.
Looking for ways to abuse this. Current best example, Nemesis throws full screen away, If it reaches the corner I can dhc (Specific timing) to chaotic flame, st. m s mmhs flame carpet and bolts liberation dark matter dark matter dark hole chaotic flame. Does a bit less than 1.1 mill, midscreen ground throw :3
I can do it off a Strange throw too, but it’s not nearly as universal, because of how the dhc works.
