Most of the serious EVO players that use sticks have them dual modded. So the choice of console used really doen’t have a bearing on anything.
I see that reelmane is at his best right now
cudos sir cudos
Especially online play.
so what your saying is east coast > west coast right?
Played on both… I’ll say that XBL Skill level does seem a step above PS3, and i feel that PS3 also had 10 times the amount of laggy players… I never found a green bar connection in 2 months of playing.
Successful troll’s successful .
why I gotta be a troll son son
It’s like saying you fucked the hotter of the two down-syndrome girls.
Online sucks.
This has got to be the dumbest thing i have ever heard.
yet another 360 vs ps3 debate. Does it really matter what people use just play on what you prefer. And as for which console has the more skilled players you can never find that out unless you had constant cross console matches.
nope…XBL has better connections and greater opponents…
Glad its the dumbest thing youve heard since you been tucked away in that basement all your life
You ain’t lying, I wonder though if he’s really just that ignorant or if he really believes what he posts is legit that’s enough of a catch for me to keep reading.
Oh and OP you can reference this: that somewhere I read that xbox users have mutant powers, yours being a trolling ass friendless bastard with nothing else to do. I know how you feel it’s my mutant power also.
glad i have someone whos actually wants to come in and share their experience between consoles without trying to put someone down. SRK are a bunch of idiots a lot of times…with that bein said, I think a lot of the times the lag bares down on the skill of the players.
No one wants to play shitty PSN network with a bunch of wireless G users. out of a fully lobby full of players you barely get a full green match which is annoying as hell. on xbox live you pretty much can get it anytime…and its fairly solid - and you have a nice selection of greenys
Gotta be the fact that a lot more users on xbox live are wired connections.
and watch someone say something like “Rellmanes a idiot, he thinks a internet connection has anything to do with skill” - it pretty much does, i dont give a fuck who you are you could be justin wong…if your on a 56k modem trying to play a online game , not one bit of your skill is gonna show
If your still living in the remote part of the country where they only offer DSL and your complaining “online is for retards” cut the shit out…i live on the east coast theres probably hundreds of ssf4 players within a 20 minute radius of me, great connections, great gameplay not everybody can house a room full of sweaty nerds everytime a nigga wants to jump on the sticks and play the 4
I whole hardheartedly agree. I dont own both consoles (yet!..Ive been lazy about buying a PS3) but, i have played a lot of the online multilayer on both and i can honestly say that both have great competition on them. You can find great players on both (and when you do, you should become friends with them ) but, in my experience i have found many more challenging players on XBL than on PSN. frankly i think the only reason for that is that XBL is bigger than the PSN.
That’s very true, you can go to offline meetups a couple times a week, but if u can’t reinforce what u learned in those matches in online matches it can be tough to level your overall game up. With a solid internet connection it makes it easier to pull off things that aren’t always possible on bad connections, and can help you to learn more about the game. That being said I never played on PSN but I have played XBL matches with people all over the east coast and central US and have played matches where there is no feeling of input lag or choppiness. Then again I’ve played green bar matches with buddies down the street where it’s choppy as hell.
Man you all are posting in a troll thread…
So are you, and me too…shit.
I don’t want to burst your bubble, but you ou are basing your opinion of a limited sample of players. There is no way you can calculate mean/median skill of all XBL or PSN players.
Now I will agree with you that it’s more likely XBL has better players, but here is my reasoning.
XBL has more players in general than PSN within the United States. XBL has superior online play. Those two reasons alone gives XBL an edge over PSN, which could be a influence on players picking one over the other.
And EVO using PS3 has absolutely nothing to do with online play. There is an EVO section on this forum and a search button. Use them, and people will stop calling you a troll.
Not saying PSN is better, but I get loads of green connections. Sometimes I wonder what people are complaining about.
If only i could find a cheap Xbox 360 and a copy of SSF4…
can a mod please close this thread. There’s 500 other threads just like this…
They’re both using a p2p network, so I dont get the “psn is more laggy” crap. The only reason more people would be laggy on psn is because more people are probably on a wireless connection on psn since the system is made for that out of the box, where as the xbox isnt. Well, it is now, but you know what I mean.
The use of ps3 at major tournys probably has to do with the systems reliablilty and swaping controllers is a snap on the ps3. On the xbox swaping controllers can be a pain in the ass.
